I enjoy music from the 40's on up to the mid 80s or so. Every music forum I go to is full of kids with interests in music I've never heard of. Nothing wrong with that, it's just I can't really discuss it. I am looking for people my own age (40-50) with my own musical tastes. Classic rock, blues, big band, jazz, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am a professional musician myself, having taken up drums and percussion in '62, turning pro in '68.
In addition, I started a sound reinforcement company (Pegasus Pro Sound Services) in 1996, even though I started playing around with it in '83.
The genres you mention are right up my alley, of course, although I have never been able to play any jazz beyond the simplest songs.
