Love is somethiung udescribable. And love is NEVER for benifit. In fact, love is something some of us wish we could get rid of since it makes us feel pain and jelousy to see the one we love leave or not even give any of it back. But back to the main point...
You'll know when it comes. I haven't trully felt it..yet. But when the time comes you'll know. Life is funny that way.

Read the book of Ruth in the Old Testament. She is a testimony to real love. She was willing to leave her own home and take another God than her people's god for love of Naomi and eventually of Boaz. Or read the book Esther, willing to lay down her life to save her people. Or the read Canticles, The Song of Songs--of the love of Christ for his bride the church,
couched as the love of Solomon for this bride the Shulammite.

i think love involves a change in the way of thinking, rather than thinking about yourself you think of you and your mate as one, when you find yourself thinking of your mate as part of yourself then your not to far off from real love.,,,,,i think, i've never been, just what ive observed

No one can tell you. You have to find out for yourself, my man.

no it's not.
real love is always asking, "what can I do for you" NOT "what's in it for me."
