In television shows especially, sometimes a certain actor will get a credit that stands out from the others and look like "John Doe as Stewie Puck". Also, there may be a 'Guest starring John Doe" type credit, even when the character is in the show almost all of the time. And example is Giles from Buffy, or B.D. Wong in Law and Order: SVU. What is the significance? Is it a little bonus for the actor?

When you look for a photographer to take your picture, what is the most important aspect in the photographer you look for? Is it quality, service, price, creativity, on-location, in-studio, the ability to add photoshop effects? What do you look for in a photographer, and what kind of pictures do you expect from one? (Besides "good"... that's obvious.)

Do you think that there is a market for self injury art. Sometimes when I cut myself, I fling the blood onto a canvas. I have one that I have been working on for 3 weeks. It is almost done. I've recently made a decision that I'd like to pursue art in college. I'm interested in graphic design and/or advertising design and I am definitely going to need a portfoilo to display what I've done. Problem is I honestly haven't dont much...I took art courses at my school in middle school and 9th and 10th grade, I have two really good works but both are based off of photographs from magazines, and I've heard works based from photographs aren't considered strong pieces. I've enrolled in an art course at an art institute nearby to work on my skills, and I'm taking AP Studio Art and an Advanced Draw and Paint class from my highschool this year. Do I have any chance of creating a good portfolio in time for aplication deadlines? I need about 12 art works. Thanks anyone who can help or has any advice for me, it means a lot.
