ventriloquists amaze me! does it come naturally to a person? or is it something you can learn? if so, how?

first you must have a puppet, a puppet where u can you put your hands into it. you know what i mean. And then try to speak without moving your lips. Practice hard... practice makes perfect.

Usually, people are naturally gifted in this field and start at a young age. It is VERY difficult if you are not naturally gifted.

I think most of them have the gifts.
I've no idea how someone can learn to do it if they don't have it.
