I would have changed my major in college. The outcome would be that I would be a history teacher like I should have been in the first place. I am a good artist, but not good enough to get a job. The good news is that I am changing that now. I start school in January and will study history education. 20/20 hindsight is such a good thing. I wish I hadn't had to go through everything I went through just to see my mistakes.

That is a tough question. If you change one thing, everything changes. We all have some good in our lives. So instead of wanting to change the past, look toward the future and try to live it the best way we can.

Unfortunately that is a question I have pondered for years. It's the "What ifs" and the "Whys" that will torment the soul.
In answer to your question, I'd have to come up with so many different scenarios that I've come to the conclusion that I couldn't go back and fix one thing; I would have to change a lot about my past life to make it worth while. -I just try not to look behind me (anymore) as I go forward in life....

I wouldn't have married my first husband. I had to wait for him to get out of law school, because he wanted me to start up a practice with him. Then he set me up in it so it could be up and running and he could take over it when he passed the bar--he tried 4 times and never did. His mother controlled everything we did, and he told me that if she and I ever disagreed, he'd take her side. Instead, I would have looked for a job on my own, and maybe been in better financial shape than I am now.

i woudn't have slept with my current hubby and i would have gooten my birth control squared away, and i would have tried my hand at writing much sooner! I wanted to be a sucessful writer by now and wanted to own a house, have plenty of money for food, bills, ect. And I would have divorced hubby by now too. ( providing I was sucessful, of course!) That is the one thing I would have changed.... cuz if i hadn't slept with him, he wouldn't have stayed all night and he MAY have gone home!

I would have been nicer. I was really mean as a kid. Trying to change that now with everyone remembering the old you is horrible not to mention quite difficult.

i actually have two things that i want to change:
1. that i would never came to america. so my parents would still be together and that we would still be happy instead of my dad ignoring my mom or vice versa.
2. that if i had come to america, that i was never mean to this guy in high school. i feel extremely bad about it but i never quite got up the courage to apologize to him.

I wish I'd gone to college when I was young and been mature enough to stick with it...
I wouldn't be stressed out about money all the time.
