Tacheia means fast or swift!
It is a Greek word and it is written in Greek as Ταχεία .
It comes from the word Ταχύτης (tahetes or tachetes) which means speed.
Tacheia is the female form. For male is Tacheis (Ταχύς).

Now this is a little different from the other answers but the word reveals no matches in my dictionary & therefore I suspect it may have spelled it incorrectly. Plus two points, ANYWAY!

It's the name of a boat from the book Arachne by Georg Ebers. But you could have just looked this up on a search engine, really... oh and it means "swift".
