Do you think that there is a market for self injury art. Sometimes when I cut myself, I fling the blood onto a canvas. I have one that I have been working on for 3 weeks. It is almost done. You may think this is a joke, but I am serious. It is how I get my pain out and make something beautiful from it.

Are you aware some guy sold a can of his own poop to a museum in England for major cash?

Are you aware I AM NOT KIDDING about the canned poop?

There's no doubt in my mind that you are serious. There's likewise no doubt in my mind that there IS a market for your work, and virtually anything else. My advice: Name the series of paintings for your blood type, like "Type O, Summer '06" or "AB-Positive, Series One."

There probably is a market, but you'll need to get into a gallery and convince them first. I mean, there's a market for all kinds of modern art, including a shark in formaldehyde.

I'm wondering if you seal the painting somehow, to prevent the blood from degrading over time?

Yes, Art can be therapeutic, but no need to incorporate bodily fluids into your work. If you like to paint, then just paint using acrylic or oils.

Using blood is hazardous because of the spread of disease. Also, if you are cutting yourself, you really need to seek professional help because this is unhealthy and dangerous. You can create art without practicing this disturbing behavior. I hope you get better and get help.

I paint with blood too. I like to use multiple mediums like oil and blood. It gives a good texture to the painting. I don't know about the market for our type of art. If you find a buyer send them my way too.

no, blood is a bio-hazard...
you can not sell bio-hazardous items legally in any market...

you know, to even dispose of them, they need to sealed in the proper disposal bags...

This is disturbing to me, I am a health care provider in the medical profession...

I think you need to seek counseling before this gets even further out of hand and you put other people at risk...

Im just speaking honestly on this matter...
