I've recently started a new job working for the NHS.

The problem is: I don't actually do anything. I just sit here at my desk surfing the net all day. Now, here's the deal:

1) Me sitting here doing nothing and getting paid for it is draining money from our health service. However;

2) The more money the health service spends this year, the more money they GET next year. And;

3) Since the money given to the health service comes out of tax money, in a roundabout way, I'm paying myself.

I went to see 'Another place' by Antony Gormley recently.
This is a piece of art which involves 100 life sized figures on Crosby beach. They run along a 3 KM stretch and go 1KM out to sea.
It made me think what is the biggest piece art ever done in terms of size or area. (Im not really including buildings here)

Taday I gave my life away
You took it with open arms
I ran out of time on this earth of ours
I was no longer strong
You broke me down and made me weak
You took my voice so I could not speak
I kept so silent I could not weep
but only in my dreams,

No one would listen no one would help
Nomatter how much I would scream and shout
Thats why I took another way out
By giving my life away,

I read this book in 7th or 8th grade and I can't remember the title... It's about this girl who sees her dad killed by this other guy... she goes on the run, getting several disguises. She dresses up as an overweight person but then I think they catch her and it's all right... that's all I can remember... well, except that it was about 200 or so pages long and a young adult book...
