Did any soldiers in the American Civil War on either the Yankee or Confederate side cross through Juniata County, Pennsylvania? And if they did, what towns did they go through?

I'm looking for any broken Nikon DSLR's or lenses that I could use for parts. I'm in college and could really use some help. I really can't afford to buy anything even used right now. Just looking to throw together a camera. And yes I can hear it already, "get a job kid" well i've got one it's just that I'm paying for all of my schooling so I never have any cash left over for photography. Even if you don't have a camera you could give me and ideas would be great! Thanks for the help.

I'm going to be doing some mural work and wondered if white gesso would work for a first layer before my actual design. I'm primarily concerned about its permanence on top of standard interior house paint; I don't want it to start cracking and peeling off because it can't adhere well.

If gesso wouldn't work, than what do mural-painters do for this type of situation? I want to cover any color that may be on the wall, smooth it out, and provide a good primer for my next layer of acrylic or oil artists' paint.

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Right now I'm starting a new "book". I've always thought about whether to write the details page by page and take it slowly or to write the basic plot and come back and add details? Is there a better way?

It was a book I read in the seventh grade, and it's been a good 4 or 5 years since then, so I don't remember the title or author. I'm not sure why, but I just want to know what it was. It was a fiction book and I think it took place in the 40s. The story is told through the eyes of a twin, who's sister is the favorite in the family. Her twin had complications at birth, and everyone told the story about the night she was born and how everyone was worried, but when the other girl asked they always said something along the lines of "You caused us no trouble at all". I also remember the girl wishing she was a monster so that her family would pay attention to her. The girl also sent on song lyrics for a competition, and got an automated reply back. I also remember that the two girls were reading on the Sabbath (Sunday) and they turned on the radio even though they weren't allowed to and heard about the start of WW2, or else D-Day, I can't remember which. I know older pictures especially, the eyes seem to follow you when you walk by them, but I honestly don't know if there is a term for this type of portrait. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was thinking about ballet, swing, belly dancing or (I no it's not a type of dance but) yoga. I can't decide which one would have more benefits over all. I’m looking for something fun, appealing, and also something that I’ll get exercise out of. Do any of you have a say in this, from your own personal experience or interest? Maybe there’s another type of dance you think I should try.

I had heard it is the recently found Book of Judas, circa AD 30. I don't mean wall painting or stone tablet or sarcphagus etching etc. I mean a written document, like a paper book or papyrus leaf writing.
