Does anyone know anything about using henna (or "mehendi") to stain/dye wood?

I use it all time, but it's used for hair dye or for non-permanent tattooes on hands and stuff.

As for wood, I think if you use Mehendi, it might come through, but you might need to use some oil for the auburn color to be darker.

henna (mehendi) is for hair dye. try in any Indian stores.
