Buddhism as one of the major religion in the world, has many followers. as i know.., the teachings are kinda different in several fundamental doctrines if we compare it to other religions, especially the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Catholicism, Islam) that centered their religious teachings on God.
So, what is the inferior, the flaws, or anything that you think is not true about its teachings. Thank you.

Recently I asked for recipes for babies as a joke. I was referencing of course Johnathon Swift's piece, "A Modest Proposal". I found it amusing. However, only one person caught the joke, and Yahoo threatened to terminate my account on the grounds that my question was "obscene" (obviously they've never seen "The View"). My question is, does anybody out their read classic literature, and have deeper thoughts than who won "American Idol", or are most of the people on here shallow, brainless liberal fascists?

Cruisin' through the country side in Wisconsin..looking at all the beautiful farms..I wondered why there were so many red barns. Was there a reason for having red barns and out buildings..is it just a traditional thing now.

I am reading this book "Song of Solomon". In it is a woman "Pilate" supposedly born without a navel on account of having been born when her mother has just died. She did not have a navel & this made her a weirdo both feared and admired by the society. I am curious to know whether there are really people without navels in the world.

Lee Oswald had defected to the Soviet Union. He had been interviewed on TV as a communist and Castro sympathizer. Should the president's security have been aware that this guy was working in a building on his rout and kept an eye on him?

Harry Potter is just a spoiled rich jock. But he get's all the credit. Ron's just as brave as Harry. Hermione is a smarter and a better student. But because Harry is filthy rich, a jock, and has connections, he gets all the credit.

"Harry Potter is a fraud, and the cult that has risen around him is based on a lie. Potter's claim to fame, his central accomplishment in life, is surviving a curse placed on him as an infant by the evil wizard Voldemort." - http://www.slate.com/?id=2073627

ok, this september will make 2 years that i've been playing the drums. I've gotten pretty good (thanks to God) but I still need to learn more. What I would like to know is this, what is a good site that teaches rthymns and beats and stuff like that. I really don't have time to get a private teacher or anything so this is my only option right now (aside from playing with music). thanks and God bless you all.

Today, if anyone doesnt know, is the 90th anniversary of the battle of the Somme. Do you think its a shame on our countries that the First World War is often forgotten over the Second World War? Do any of you plan to commemorate today?
