ok, this september will make 2 years that i've been playing the drums. I've gotten pretty good (thanks to God) but I still need to learn more. What I would like to know is this, what is a good site that teaches rthymns and beats and stuff like that. I really don't have time to get a private teacher or anything so this is my only option right now (aside from playing with music). thanks and God bless you all.

You can certainly learn techniques from a website or video instruction program. But nothing beats instruction with a real player. Whether with a group or a private instructor, you'll learn more effectively than any other way. For example, a private instructor can:

1. Specifically tune your instruction to your style and preference
2. Visually correct form and technique
3. Provide accountability
4. Coach, push, and encourage you

If that is not an option, I'd suggest finding a player who will let you watch while he or she plays, discuss what happened during the session, watch your sessions, and (eventually) let you sit in. I've actually seen this kind of process at a church in Pittsburgh...a church know for bringing up its teens as excellent musicians and artists (check out the link below).

It's a very good realization of the apprenticeship process that used to be the way a trade or career was learned.
