Nah, it'll be like Dallas in the 80's...it'll all be a dream or he will be like a Phoenix and just regenerate over and over.

As much as I don't like it, I think it is totally possible that J.K. Rowling might kill off Harry. If you remember the article, she said that there is a good side to killing off your main character. When she is dead and gone, no one will be able to come back and write Harry because he already died; it would be satisfactory to know that no one will come back and take over you masterpiece.

Here is a list of people besides Harry that I think might perish.

Ron: Besides being Harry's best mate, we haven't really seen him prove himself in times of danger and battle. He showed his strengths back in Book 1 when during the giant chess match during the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone. There is a theory that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry in the final match against Voldemort.

Pettigrew: Do I have to explain it? Let's see... He betrayed the Potters, he helped Voldemort get his body back, and is an all-around bad guy. I think it's time to go, and that the life-debt that he has to Harry will be involved somehow.

Draco: I think that apart from being "bad", Draco is really a tragic character. His family are Death Eaters. He's got a lot to live up to. I got the kind of feeling that he was forced in the Book 6 to serve Voldemort. All the stress he underwent, the frustration, the anxiety... I mean, the poor boy was misguided. Remember that he is only about 17. People can make horrible mistakes when they are at that age. Unfortunately in Draco's case, it might cost him his life. He's in too deep.

Professor Trelawney: I think there is a possibility of her death in Book 7. She's always predicting how people will die, and seeing strange, dark omens everywhere. I think that is a kind of subtle foreshadowing. She sees death everywhere, why can't it be hers? I just wonder how this would play out, and how important it would be to the actual plot.

Percy: Hmm... Anyone sure which side he is really on?

Who will get a reprieve? (JKR said in a very recent interview that she gave a certain character a reprieve from dying) I have an inkling that it is one of the Dursleys.... or Snape.

regaurdless if Harry dies or not, J K Rowling has made it clear that there will be no more Harry Potter books. the last chapter of the series was written before the first. She has also commented that no other book she writes will ever match the success of the Harry Potter series did and will continue to be.

Whether Harry dies in the next book or not, J. K. Rowling has already stated that after the 7th book she will be finished with the series. If you really want to know about what the author is planning on doing, then you should check out the author website or actually contact them and ask them your questions.

The next book will be the end of the series no matter whether Harry dies or not. J.K. Rowling has said all along, repeatedly, that book seven was IT. The story will be over. She's going on to write something else.

So, unless she starts channeling George Lucas, I think we should take her word on it.

No, Harry won't die that is a red herring being put out by Rowling. The series will end at seven. I believe it is BS that Rowling has had the entire thing laid out since day one. I believe with all of her money Rowling will be done with Harry but she is basically too fond of him to have him put down. So what do you think the book will end with Malfoy, snape and the deatheaters doing a dance of victory over the corpses of Harry & company?

I think Harry will be one of the characters killed. If you look at it logically, Harry's life has been linked with Voldemorts since he was attacked - some of V's powers being transferred to him etc. I think when V is defeated Harry will be too because their fates are linked.

NO....Hermoine is pregnant with Harry's baby.
Therefore, she will be hidden away and raise the baby as Ron's. The secret society will protect them all until the next book comes out.

there is a big possibility. i agree with george. but then it would seem pretty stupid if j.k makes harry die in the next book, cause she is getting tons of money just by her books and so why would she stop writing books when she could receive alot more money. i wouldn't stop writing the books.i guess we will find out in the next book.
