I'm wondering what more highly evolved beings (if they exist) might be like as well as what direction our own evolution might take. This comparison of dogs to us vs. us to higher levels of evolution might get at this. How can higher beings better manipulate their environment (we have fingers)? How might their minds work that could be beyond our current understanding? What powers might they have that we don't (dogs probably think that opening doors and getting food out of a can are powers).

I hate those dumb grey smiley faces across a screen, its one thing not to have a picture, or a camera,or scanner to use as a Avatar, but its another thing when their free to make, and gives a identity and personality to your post

The way people wish to run away or bury their head in the sand. We must face this truth and not allow the past to be lied or forgotten. Or we all will be on our knees 5 times a day facing the east.

They're a brother and sister. The guy is named Alex the girl is Elayne. I can't think of a last name that would work, though. I need something kind of european sounding (they're white americans) that sounds believeable but isn't really common (not Smith). I was thinking something that starts with an L might go nice but I'm really stuck.

What I'm saying is this: if killing a living thing is wrong, then killing plants is also wrong. We pretend it's ok to kill something as long as it doesn't have a "soul." Who are we to decide what has a soul or not. If this so-called god of yours is real, how do we know how he made plants, and whether they have a soul or not. Just some food for though, leave an answer please.

I saw a tv show on the Da Vinci Code that explained why John the Apostle looked like a woman such as Mary Magdalene. He was a type called the Student, typically beardless and young. (This is in his painting The Last Supper). I would like to know what the other types are in Renaissance painting.

We've heard a lot of stories about him. We heard how wicked he was and how seductive he was. But after reading everything about him what is your personal opinion about Rasputin? Was his presence was an asset or loss to the normal Russians?
