Why don't ppl make a Avatar,instead of using those smiley faces..?

I hate those dumb grey smiley faces across a screen, its one thing not to have a picture, or a camera,or scanner to use as a Avatar, but its another thing when their free to make, and gives a identity and personality to your post

well atleast get a picture off the internet

Rec Kid, I like your avatar, youve given it personality, and I like to read the books with the words as well, but you still have a cover that draws you in, and seperate that book from other books, the shape the size, and the shelf its on, make that book different from the other, although people say dont judge a book by its cover, but the cover makes you remeber that book, and of course the stories within it

So what you are saying is that you need the visual aid to help you put things in perspective. When you read a book, do you need to know what the author looks like? Just in case you didn't get it, some people prefer to let their words alone do the talking.

I answered a question just like this yesterday. I haven't made an avatar because I don't want one, and I don't give a d**m what you think either. I don't want to make an avatar because no matter if I made one, it's still not going to look like me or really represent what I think or want to say about myself.

Get over yourself dude, and don't just expect people to conform because you want them to.

It just kills you that you can not subject someone to the image of their picture. Those silly faces with their mouths twisted are not me. Why the hell do you need a face when I am showing you my heart.
