The way people wish to run away or bury their head in the sand. We must face this truth and not allow the past to be lied or forgotten. Or we all will be on our knees 5 times a day facing the east.

I have a magnet that says, "History doesn't repeat itself, stupid people repeat history."

People have selective memory, and they also don't believe that they are ever as bad as the people in the past or that they have actual reasons for doing things like genocide and such. However, some actually hold these people as heroes and want to emulate their actions. Sad, but true.

To forget the past is to repeat it, as someone once said. Anyone or any group, given the motivation, is capable of bringing about genocide. The motivation, of course, is religion, politics, or racial "superiority." In other words, being convinced that "we are right; they are wrong, and they are a threat to me and my family." I don't believe that the USA has cleaner hands then anyone else, its just that we are better about hiding our humanitarian crimes done in the name of war. Look at our involvement with the School of the Americas. We have turned our back on genocide the world over and its still going on in places where there is no threat to us financially. One of Hitler's close buddies said that if you can keep the populace stirred up by telling repeated lies, in time they will come to believe you and act upon these lies. Its called "mob rule". Look at the lynchings in our country not so long ago. These went on in near here in the 1930's! That was genocide on a smaller basis. Never think that so-called evil people are only members of a different religion or political party, or that the threat is all "out there." I'm not at all concerned about being"on my knees 5 times a day facing the East" . We all have the same source, creator, God, whatever you call it. I am concerned about thinking by that virtue of my beliefs, I am superior to others, therefore have the right to determine whats best for all. I don't, and no one else does. Live and let live is my creed.

I don't think Pol Pot or Hitler were Muslims.

What about the current genocide in Iraq under US occupation? Saddam is on trial at this moment for the execution of 141 of his countrymen while the United States and her allies have killed tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians since the the start of this gulf war though indiscriminate bombings, permissible lawlessness and a shoot first policy.

If you were an Iraqi which do you think would be the lesser of two evils? Life under Saddam or life under US occupation?

Hitler killed specific communities of human beings (no longer basically Jewish human beings) to create a "very final answer"- he believed that having all and sundry be blonde-haired, blue eyed, and caucasian became the "proper race" of human beings. His massive hollow in this argument became that Hitler himself became a brown-haired, brown-eyed guy. He became an particularly charismatic speaker, and became very convincing in his arguments, to no longer point out he had super political and protection tension power to make human beings do despite he wanted them to. as some distance because of the fact the human beings listed above, my opinion is they haven't any ethics or appreciate for human existence. Mengele became a Nazi whose analyze became in many circumstances geared in the direction of twins; he might do issues like inject dye into their eyes to confirm if their eye colour may well be diverse, or to preform surgical procedures without administering anesthesia first. those "subhuman" human beings have been taken care of like lab rats in a super technological understanding honest. Saddam Hussein became "evil" for the brute tension that he confirmed to human beings, and killed on a whim. If somebody disagreed with him, they might maximum probable be killed or tortured, despite in the event that they have been kinfolk. He became a nondiscriminatory killer, and could have on no account been waiting to "lead" a united states of america. relating to the final area of your question, you are able to verify out the seven deadly sins as a education. Greed, sloth, lust, and so on. are god examples to circulate by utilising. human beings will continually choose means and money. maximum folk in the corporate international choose to strengthen by utilising any potential mandatory, for this reason compromising their character and stepping on human beings in the technique. Murdering human beings for egocentric reasons is yet another one. in case you like a literary occasion, think of of your popular e book , and seek for the source of conflict. In Shakespeare's "Hamlet", the king is killed because of the brother's lust for means and for his spouse, whom he's having an affair with. Anywho, wish that facilitates. solid success!
