I am going in to get a hair cut in about a week (hopefully).
I have a lot of extra money and my hair is desperately needing to get dyed. I have never gotten my hair dyed professionally.. I always go to WalMart and buy dye, and do that myself.

Is going to a professional better? Are there any other pros/cons to getting your hair dyed at a professional rather then doing it yourself?
I know it will cost a lot more then doing it myself, but if I have the extra money I'm wondering how I could benefit from it.

Are we ever really absolutely free? Or is everything constrained or even predetermined?

When my husband first was diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago- the doc put him on STARLIX- he was doing really well with his levels- and the last few weeks, diet has not changed- his levels are not below 200- and this morning it hit 300. He cannot exercise due to being disabled from injuries at work- however he was not exercising a year ago either.

I am concerned that removing our downstairs toilet will devalue the house and as our young son gets older feel that it will be useful to stop little muddy footprints being trapesed through the house. My partners argument is we have limited storage space and need somewhere to put coats and a pram.
The Toilet is behind a door in part of the porch by the front door and is separated from the lounge by another door. Another concern is the potential smell as you come into the house. At the moment a compromise is that we remove the sink and toilet and cap the plumbing so we can put it back at a later date if we want to. Any Ideas on what kind of value this facility may add to a house?

i recently found my biofather and he has asked me to call his mother 'grandma'. now thats all fine and good for a couple of reasons
1. she is fantastic, i love her and she accepts me as one of her own, her words not mine.
2. i have no grandparents left, so the respect issue i have about calling him 'dad' wont apply to her. no one will be hurt but an 'extra' grandma' being around

now the question is, if you were the family of a long lost relative (NO ONE in this family knew of me for 35 years, i just showed up in his life one day) they dont know me from eve, would it be upsetting to you to hear this person calling your mother/grandma, whatever "grandma"
it seems almost disrespectful of me to use this term so early in our relationship. yes she is biologically related, but still a stranger.

whats your thoughts, am i being overly senstive or am i being respectful?

im so confused

I just started grad school last August. I haven't put on a lot of weight but I have some weight to lose that I gained a while back and I have lost my tone. The problem is I spend 12-13 hours a day in class, teaching class, or working my office. By the time I get home I am too pooped to even think about exercising.

Has anyone had to deal with this situation? How did you find the time and energy to get the exercise you needed?

I mean taking bits and pieces from each religion that would help you in your life and rejecting that which does no good to you.

Essentially the metaphor I used was taking from each bucket anything that would help you get to your destination (lets call it happiness) no matter what bucket (religion) it came from. Then rejecting the other stuff in the buckets, the dead weights, that would only weight you down.

Rather then identifying myself as a Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, or Jew I am my own self.

I am Athiest in a sense that I do not believe in a deity until there is scientific proof but I still use parts from each religion for wisdom. Mainly from Buddhism but there has been a few good sayings from Islam that I've heard.

I'm writing a short story from the percpective of a man with an addiction to alcohol. I chose to do this because I know what it's like DEALING with an alcoholic and I want to write about the aspects of addiction, but i dont know what it's like BEING an alcholic. I've been researching this as much as I can but there is only so much I can learn. I would really like to talk to an addict about there experience/experiences. So if anyone can help me out, please let me know. Thank you

Our assignment when we come back to school, January 3, is too "have" a child. I am paired with this really mean, weird boy, We are having a daughter. Her name is going to be MiShae Lee. The teacher chose it, it was the last "girl" so he named it after his daughter. "Joe" was so mad. He said MiShae was a stripper name. I happen to like the name MiShae and Michaela. I was offended. What do you think of think of the name MiShae?
