he used to be one of my favorite actors however over the last few years he seems to attempt to use his star power to push his religous views onto others----so now i do not watch his movies---has anyone else lost respect for him as well?

It has been learned that, although piercings and tattoos are not condemned by Jehovah's Witnesses... if one should get one, they lose their congregational privledges for a time... is this true? If so, does this only apply to tattoos and piercings that are visible? If a married sister chose to get a belly piercing, would this still apply even if her piercing is kept private and hidden, while not stumbling others in the congregation? (I am not looking for different opinions on piercings, for I am aware that there are many. I am only looking for answers to these questions above.)

The left side of my mouth, my gums really hurt. For the 3 days, It's been hurting soo bad to brush on that side. I have braces, and i haven't been flossing, but idk why only my left side is hurting

I'm finding out the real hard way that the school district we live in is not good when there are special ed children. My daughter is very high functioning (I don't like classifying kids like that, but to get my point across) autistic. She does need speech and social skills groups at the minimum. The school we're in is refusing all services. They're also claiming that no one in the school sees any autistic traits in her. I know this to not be true because I've spoken with other teachers. Anyway, I may have an opportunity to move, but I have no idea how to go about researching special education within a district. Both of my children are sort of stuck in the middle; They have enough issues to *need* help, but not enough to get the help.

How do I find out if the district we may move to is going to be better? Any online resources?

I know there is an annual hunt of seals in the north of Canada...but, why? And, aren't the seals normally young, or babies? Is the killing mostly to get the animal's fur, or is there any other benefits to it? For example, food for the native people, or essential oils etc...Is it just a senseless killing spree or is there a method to the madness? I don't really know much about this aside from the brutal way in which the seals are killed. Anyone want to tell me more?

My printer and external hard drive (both USB) now come up as "Unknown Device" in Device Manager. I have used them both for months in the past with no problem on my Windows XP machine. When I check "Properties" it says that "No drivers are installed for this device." I have tried turning the devices off, unplugging them and plugging them in again (in the USB ports both in front and in back of my computer), to no avail. A few more notes:
-I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software, and nothing changes.
-I started up the computer in safe mode, and both "Unknown Devices" still showed up in the Device Manger.
-The devices start up fine when plugged into my ohter computer, so I'm pretty certain that the problem is not with them.
-Several flash drives also are "Unknown" when plugged in. Oddly, I have one flash drive that is identified properly.
I've looked over many user groups and help files, and haven't seen anything like this. Can anyone help?

My wife of 4 years has an implant to help with her RSD. Her pain is now all but gone!!! We are so happy. She spent almost 3 years in a wheelchair, and is now doing thereapy twice a week. She can walk, but has a low stamina... for now. Does anyone else want to share their experiances? Any one else have RSD?

I have an ex who left me sick in the hospital to be with someone else. When I found out I lost it on him, because first I could not believe he could do something like that, and second the girl he left me for was bad news. I was so hurt and by his actions it seemed he did not care about me. We never fought and I helped him through so much mentally. After some time he did tell me everything he did was uncalled for and I found out he is no longer with this girl. This girl was a one night stand before we met, I confirmed that. She got pregnant and had his child. I am the one who told him he should be a part of the childs life, but I never thought he would fall for the mother. She is the reason he wanted nothing to do with them. He was ashamed. But now he is a big part of his daughters life. But no matter what I do, he will no longer talk to me. Why??? I just want answers from him in person, he wont respond to me.

I recieved a cat condo from an unknown source that had a cat. I want to be sure it is not harboring fleas before I bring it in.. Other than spraying it with a flea /tick spray, will leaving it in my garage where it is below freezing (Minnesota winter) help kill any chance of fleas? If so.. how LONG would I need to leave the thing in freezing temps to be sure?

Spent lots of time and money to make a large pan of potatoes augratin only to have them come out looking very unpleasant. All ingredients were fresh and the milk was at room temperature before adding it. Is there any thing I can add to help uncurdle the milk to try to save the dish?

Please, only qualified people (Preferably Navy Nukes) answer...I don't need a bunch of random people posting personal uninformed opinions about how they hate the military.

My family doesn't have the money for me to finish college (was an engineering major), and even having good grades scholarships haven’t helped enough (so much for being an officer). I heard about the Navy Nuclear Power School, how you can earn some college credit (but not an actual degree) and apply for the enlisted to commissioning program. I got a 95 on the asvab, so supposedly I will do well in this program.

My question: Is it worth it? Would it be better to enlist in this program than try to finish college? Do people actually get commisioned if they do well?

I recently watched bits and pieces of Pleasantville-I flipped past it after watching about 30 seconds of it thinking that it was another 40-50's movie depicting the world as a utopia. However I soon realized that this was exactly what the movie was speaking against, the main message being that we need to open up to new ideas and give up our conservative ways. I really liked the color differences that showed a character attaining multicolor when he or she opened up to the world.

What movies have strong messages that are similar to this?
