Contractual obligation for starters. Contestants sometimes face millions in fines and lawsuits if they reveal the conclusion. Some shows keep the contestants in seclusion until their final episode airs, then allow the contestants to go home under the previously mentioned contract.

Seclusion-

3. a secluded place.

If they are filming in the Africa they keep them in Africa, usually in the hotel the crew is staying at.

Fines:

They garnish your wages for the rest of your life or until you pay it off.
