yeah my daughter's bedroom furniture. That crap cost me a couple grand and is worth a couple hundred. NEVER AGAIN!

They keep calling me begging me to come get something else. So annoying.

While convenient when you cannot afford to buy it outright or with a credit card - you always pay a higher price for it. There are some personal loans that would cost less than some of the places that have the rent to own option.

Yeah, a washer and dryer, but we ended up buying different ones.

I have, but I don't recommend it because you wind up paying double or triple the actual cost of the item. I did buy a futon at RAC because it was the only place that had one I liked. We have excellent credit but we were treated very shabbily. I suppose this is because they may have some clientele that are fly by nighters. But, I will never purchase anything there again.

No you pay way more than the item is worth, get a credit card with a 0% intro rate and pay the min balance each month and it would be much cheaper.

Heck with a lot of credit cards it's cheaper even after the intro rate

Yes I have used it to buy a laptop and also to buy a Big screen TV. I knew that I was paying just as much as if I had charged it but I don't like to use credit for large purchases.

Yep. I even worked at a rent-to-own store. I have bought several items such as stereos, living room sets, computers, and recliners.
