at one point, I either ask or am asked to dance by a younger woman (I"m a guy). I dance with this woman, there is no sex, no dating nothing but normal dance touch and hold posturing.
Turns out this young girl is underage. Say 15 yrs.
Am I guilty of some kind of inapproprate conduct in this situation? State of Calif since they seem the strictest on issues like this.

I've been working for this retail place (Canada, Ontario) for about 7 months now. They've told me around september how they were closing down but told me how I would be placed in one of their other 4 stores and not to worry. As the deadline has drawn closer and closer they haven't said a word about my placement. The District Manager came to me Saturday 22 with a note to sign saying my job will be terminated on Dec 31...
They told me I would have a place... not maybe. They said maybe in the last days... now its good bye?

Are they allowed to do that? What could I do? Who could I report it to?

on a side note... you think loyalty and hard work would place you some where...but not everywhere...

Lets say a cop arrests you for no reason. Lets say he is a racist cop. The cop makes up something to arrest you for, so you are falsely being arrested which you resist the false arrest. You end up going to court for doing something you didn't do and for resisting arrest. Come to find out you are innocent of the false claims, which makes the reason for the arrest false.

Are you still charged for resisting arrest, even if its a flase arrest?

Would you resist arrest if it were a false arrest? Why or why not?

Serious answers only please...My 15 year old son leaves wrappers everywhere...under couch, behind things....he can't seem to find the garbage can. I have tried taking away T.V. (he mostly trashes the play room where his tv is)...taken away that room from him, made him clean the entire playroom up (all siblings things), it seems like all the obvious things I have done ( I did begin by nicely asking, explaining why we need to throw things away....this has been going on for 4 years).

Anything would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm 60, my mother, 88. Visiting for Christmas after a long absence, holding her close, she said she wanted to live with me "forever and ever", not comprehending my own disability.

My sister, 65, and niece, 44, were present, who tend her often, living in the same city as the nursing home, but neither able either. She is there for multiple TIAs (ministrokes). My sister and I saw the brain scan showing the damage, when the neuro PhD told Mother she could no longer live alone, nor in an assisted living center; that the areas of damage would cause additional falls, imbalance and impaired memory.

She's remained unconvinced 4 years. The doctors have confirmed that other than the effects of her strokes, she is in perfect health, and will likely live a lot longer.

Repeating what happened when we made this decision, she remembers none of it, nor having ever fallen, saying today she thinks we're "pulling her leg". It breaks my heart. I write her weekly. Keep these explanations?

so i was interested in purchasing a new phone, a pantech duo to be exact...
so on the cingular website it say that the
~list price is $450
~2-year contract $299
~mail in rebate -$100
~online price $199

sooo my 2 year contract isn't done yet but i still want to get the phone....
my question is
Am I paying the online price??
or the list price or what??

Hi Everyone - I've been traveling for x-mas and my ankles are starting to swell. I haven't had swelling before, nor am I haven't swelling any other places (no face swelling or hands or leg swelling). For those of you who have had swelling while pregnant (I'm 25 weeks), what have you done? I'm keeping hydrated and keeping my feet up while resting. I'm also icing them just in case I sprang my ankles (which given how clustzy I've been, could've happened!). I'm trying to relieve some of the swelling before I get on a plane on Thursday. I also think traveling may the the culprit anyway - y'all know how bad planes can be on circulation. Anything you'd tried and had work?

I am Catholic. I am living in a flat full of Born again Christians. The pastor was staying there at one time and we had a one on one talk. And at the end of our talk she made me repeat a prayer with her with regards as choosing Jesus as my savior etc. Am I still Catholic???
