For me it will be IF I lose Hunter, who then will I vote for?

I think it far more likely that Duncan Hunter would drop out than John McCain. In fact, I don't see McCain withdrawing until at least February 5. On the other hand, if Fred Thompson fails to get higher than third in any of the early states, right up to Florida, I doubt he'll stay in even that long.
And it's Dodd, not Dobbs.

In case you haven't heard, McCain is hot! His numbers are way up in the most recent polls. And Ron Paul won't win, but he has a lot of money. I agree with the earlier comment that Hunter will pull out before McCain--and I would add--before Paul.
As for me, I like Biden, but Edwards is right up there, too. I would support any of the Dems against any of the Republicans this year. Not only because the GOP field is weak (which it is), but because we badly need a radical break from the "unitary executive" philosophy of the current administration.

Ron Paul will NEVER drop. If he drops, then it's bad for all the world.
I'd then probably vote for Edwards.
