my one and a half yr old screams when she dont get what she wants or just for no reason. i have looked at parenting sites and they offer no help. as a mom im going nuts. please help!!

Okey -breath in- Long question coming your way...

I have the anti-virus program AVG Free Edition. It seems this program is good for detecting viruses and backdoor trojans but when it comes to fixing them it pretty much sucks.

I literally have about 8 trojans and viruses on my computer, yet AVG never seems to be able to heal them.

I would also appreciate it if you'd let me know what Anti-Virus program you'd reccomend. (I had Norton one time, yet it took off the System32, so I'm not particularly impressed with Norton...)

AND one more thing - if I were to uninstall AVG from my computer (with the viruses in the Virus Vault) would the viruses go with it? Or would they simply return if I were to re-install the program?

There are two forms of Agnosticism; 1) Weak – we do not currently have the means and/or information to say whether or not a deity exists, and 2) Strong – we can not in principle ever say whether or not a deity exists.

Atheism also comes in two forms; 1) Strong – there is no deity, and 2) Weak – I lack a belief in a deity, but make no absolute claim (scientific Atheism falls here).

Agnostics of any form have no belief in a deity, and thus Agnosticism is a form of Weak Atheism. So, why do so many here seem to insist that Agnostics are more reasonable than Atheists? They are Atheists!

My friend has been with a Muslim man for a year, and he is the nicest person I have ever met.

I would love to talk to him about his faith but I'm worried about how he will be. I was raised a Catholic but I don't practise now.

To any Muslims out there - do you think I should talk to him about his faith or is there a chance I would cause an upset?

I'm looking to invest in several stocks, all surrounding the development and progression of computer hardware and computers in general.

I'm looking at apple which has been doing very well at around 190$. ticker: AAPL

Also looking at HP which is at around 52$, and has been going up extremely well in the past 3 years ticket: HPQ

Looking at Soyo which is a penny stock that i might invest in for the risky jump that it might start going big, ticket: SOYO

Wondering if investing in Google will be a good investment, Jim cramer thinks it'll multiply by 5x again, within several years to 3500$.

Dell does not seem like a good option as apple is so effectively beating it.

Have not looked at IBM at all.

Please tell me what you think about all this, thanks.

My father was just diagnosed with lung cancer that has met to the brain. He has no insurance, his medicare starts 1 Feb 2008, but we need something to cover him until this date (about 30 days). Does anyone know of any resources or organizations that can help him make it until 1 Feb 2008.

I did horrible this semester and failed some courses in college because i had a lot of personal issues and problems going in life and couldn't concentrate in school but am doing better and and starting to get my act together. I plan on retaking the courses next semester. Is there any way to bring my grades up and possible get back on track with my credits and gpa so I can possibly transfer out? I need some kind of hope becuase I feel like I cant accomplish and get my gpa up. Any advise will help as in what I SHOULD DO next semester and I plan on taking summer classes as well. The current cost of the Iraq war has been $600 billion dollars, and will soon be 1 Trillion dollars---all of it on the Federal VISA card at the moment.

Rather than past this crushing debt on to the next generation, why not tax all Americans now, so as to pay for it "as it goes" year by year?

What better way to "support the troops", then by actually supporting them out of our paychecks?
