I plan on retaking the courses next semester. Is there any way to bring my grades up and possible get back on track with my credits and gpa so I can possibly transfer out? I need some kind of hope becuase I feel like I cant accomplish and get my gpa up. Any advise will help as in what I SHOULD DO next semester and I plan on taking summer classes as well. THANK YOU GUYS!

Im not sure what a WU means....here in FL you get a W, and some schools have WP(withdrawing and passing) or WF(withdrawing and failing). Both a W and a WP are not calculated into your GPA as opposed to a WF and a F

Depending on your school policy, the WU category may be "Incomplete," I think the big different between that and F is probably that an F is calculated into your GPA and is FINAL! You are stuck with it for the rest of your life. If they give you a WU, it is probably not calculated into your GPA right away, but then you are REQUIRED to retake the class at the earliest possible time that it is offered again (Next term if it is offered every term; next year if it is offered once a year). During which time, the WU remains. If you don't sign up to retake the class, that WU turns into an F after the opportunity has passed. If you do sign up again for the same class, whatever grade you get will replace the WU on your transcript and GPA will be calculated accordingly.

Some school may require that you have to take the same class with the same professor, while others don't care. In any event, you need to talk to the registrar or the like to figure out what the policy at your school is. Good luck for the rest of your college years.

At my university you can do a grade replacement. Basically if you don't do as well as you would like in a class, you can take it over again and replace the first grade with the second. Of course you can only do it so many times.

I'm not sure what a WU is, but it is some version of a withdrawl, which generally wont be counted towards your GPA. It will be posted on your transcripts tho.

Hope this helps!

W means withdrew from the course. WU means withdrew unsatisfactory or could mean incomplete meaning you didn't take the final or something like that.:
Sometimes they count sometimes they don't you will have to check with the professor on that.
Just take the courses you failed over and concentrate on getting good grades. One bad semester wouldn't usually kill you.
Now here is a trick you might can use. If you know you are going to have trouble with a course instead of taking the course cold. You audit the course first then go back and take it making sure you get the same professor you had when auditing the course.
Audits don't count against grade points. When you audit a course the grades are not recorded so you'll be safe from lowering your grade point average.

If you get an F it affects your gpa, a W doesn't.

If you failed some classes you might be screwed. Probably the best thing to do is retake the classes, and make sure you get A's. It's really the only way to get your GPA up, and having faild some classes might make it more difficult for you to get financial aid or transfer.

You should probably talk to an advisor, and make sure you do really well from now on.

Good luck.
