It is like Islam, whom has kicked Jesus and his writings out of their countries, and all their coasts, Jesus is not allowed in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and most of Africa, and the penalty of having only his writings is DEATH !

The whole context of this part of the Holy Scriptures is the healing of demon possessed men. The demons recognized Jesus and already knew what awaited them in the future, "Have you come here to torture us BEFORE the appointed time?" (v. 29) Jesus sent the demons into a nearby herd of pigs, and the herd ran down a cliff and drowned. The townsfolk came out and instead of rejoicing at the healing of the two men, they were upset for their financial loss. That is why the people wanted him to leave, it is nothing like Islam, but everything like today's society. We don't want Jesus messing with our money. We want him to lead in everything else, but we want him to leave our money alone.

The scripture quoted is the conclusion of the story when the pigs rushed into the sea. The locals were obviously upset at their loss and believing Jesus to be responsible asked him to leave.
The visions that led to Islam did not occur until about seven hundred years later

Islam recognizes the miracles of our prophet Jesus PBUH and his virgin mother Mary but I do believe Islam recognizes that Jesus the Prophet PBUH scribes did add untruths in the last revealed book of Allah SWT the New Testament. We believe he was a prophet and was sent to spread the word of the one true Creator Allah not in himself as god and the people did not embrace his teachings except the true believers. Others came to worship him as god which according to Islam he never did associate himself with Allah SWT as a son or Allah SWT himself. He fasted, prayed, and
claimed "I am the Son of Man". He will return on Judgement day according to the Quran. He also stated that another great
prophet will come after me Muhammad PBUH. Allah beloved his prophet Jesus PBUH so much he rescued him from the cruxifiction and the man up there was not Jesus PBUH and it would be impossible to follow the thought that Allah SWT was dead for three days. His divine Mercy and love for his Prophet
Jesus PBUH would not allow him to suffer in the way the Christians hold to be truth or idol worship a cross. This is what the Quran clears up later about the mysteries of Jesus PBUH the man. This particular story I believe is one recognized in Islam as truth. From Adam and Eve to Abraham Moses Joseph all our prophets are the same. The biggest debate is simply Jesus was not god, never claimed to be god, but the Injeel or New Testament was tainted by the scribes and he ddi indeed perform miracles to the people from birth in fact he was able to speak so you will find we embrace many of the miracles bestowed upon him by Allah SWT and they coincide with the revelations given to Muhammad PBUH via the angel Gabriel in the Quran in the early years of 600 after Christ's death and 1400 years later has never been altered in it's original Arabic language.

It's better to read the entire passage:

The Healing of Two Demon-possessed Men

28When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,[d] two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29"What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"

30Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."

32He said to them, "Go!" So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 33Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

Jesus had just cast out demons from two people and the people were probably very scared. I don't she what this has to do with Islam.

No they asked him to go away because he caused their pigs to stampede over a cliff and drown (clearly these people weren't Jewish!) and they were afraid that if he stayed around he might cause them some more such losses.

Perhaps they were afraid to be in the presence of someone with that kind of power and they were concerned about the financial impact of losing their pigs.

its common to all prophets, all prophets were persecuted, the only one who is still persecuted is Prophet Muhammad (saw) because we as weak Muslims dont live up to his character and his message..
