Ok so heres what you do, slowly distance yourself from this girl, find new friends join a club or something, find a hobby where you meet new people, this will make it more likely to not bother this girl as you aren't attacking her saying i don't like you anymore etc, try to help her find other friends, subtlety! As for the secret, theres not much you can do unless you know a particularly juicy one of hers you can use as persuasion, ie threaten to tell, if not, well she will either tell or not, u will just have to deal with the fact that you made a mistake in your choice of confidant, next time choose more wisely or else if its particularly damaging don't share it!

Ahhhhh..this is why we never ever tell secrets to people we don't want used against us.
Depending on the secret, you may be better off just tell everyone yourself in advance...unless you have something just as rough on her..
Still...never ever tell your secrets...ever.
