I saw a show on the history channel that there are something like 175 cultures that have a "great flood" story in their distant past - the historian (a non-Christian) estimated the time of these stories to be around 3000BC and that it was caused by an asteroid

could be Noah's flood and the Bible is the account of what happened to the Israelites during that disaster

I work at a fast food place and my restarunt maneger has been on the sick for 2 months he was allways in a rush and got tierd out. his wife is an assistant manager at another store and has been helping out for a bit. Now the assistant manager at my store has been made restarunt maneger. do you think theres any chance of him comeing back? hes been working for the company for 26 years.

My office is having a potluck this Thursday and I need some really good recipes for stuff to bring. People are already bringing dessert, fondue, pigs in a blanket, sweedish meatballs, lasagna and chili cheese dip. I am looking for something that is going to blow all these out of the water. Been known this girl for a while. We are both single and I've always liked her. Lately I've been throwing her signals by inviting her places and texting her more often. She declined the invitations with valid reasons, plus her friend told me that she really wanted to go, but couldn't. I'm not positive she's in to me or not. I have not sensed any clear signals. Do you think she would find it odd if I gave her a gift? Nothing expensive or fancy. Just to let her know I'm thinking of her.

A Dad has a 5-year-old with his ex-wife. She has had 3 more children since they split up. Do you think it is right for Dad to have to spend money on Christmas and Birthday gifts for his son to give to his siblings? I think it should be the Mothers job. I know the son should be able to give gifts to his siblings, but it wasn't the Dad's choice for his son to have them. Just wondering others opinions on this.

I mainly ask this because my boyfriend has primary custody of their son and his ex has asked for money for presents for her other kids. If I didn't know her, I would have a hard time believing someone would do that.

A container contains 2 mol of H2 and 1 mol of O2. Write down the probability that all the H2 is in the leftmost 2/3 of the container and all the O2 is in the rightmost 1/3.

I live out in the country and have a water well. A few months ago I started having problems with water pressure in my house. Now I have dirt coming out of the faucets in the house. What could be causing this and more importantly, how can I fix it? This just started yesterday. I have never delt with fixing water well problems before so I am totally dumb about them. I do know that the water well is about 15 years old. I will use any help I can get.

I am planning on buying a 1976 Honda Cub 90 motorcycle. Apparently its only problem is that its carburettor leaks petrol. How difficult would that be to repair? I know nothing about motorcycles - would I have to get it serviced? And if so, how much would that be?

I'm hosting x mas this year and making turkey, perogies with sauce, cabbage rolls, mashed potato's, neleshnika (spelled wrong) and I need a veggie plate? I don't know what to make? or how to make it?
We are having my parents who are very picky with veggies, they only like your typical, carrots,pee's,brocoli....nothing exotic or too spicey.
