Just got a Canon PowerShot A560 and am having problems opening the battery/memory card slot - any ideas?

It won't budge.

I have an A540, think they are similiar if not the same. If looking at the bottom of the camera, LCD is to the left and lense is to the right, the battery door is at the top. There is a button on the door, push this to the right, with it at the right, push the entire door up. That should make it open.

You know, I bet that information is in the Owner's Manual for your camera. So READ & STUDY it.

Doesn't anyone ever open the Owner's Manual?
