Why not go to a Wedding Chapel? Some of them are quite nice, lots of taste, pictures and all and you will have something to remember.

As others have said, look up City hall or whatever the city center is near you, and there will probably be an area for marriage licenses.

If you go in to City hall, there will probably not be much space, if you wanted to invite a lot of people to join you. Also, there will be other people in line, with their friends, to get married, too, so it's not exclusively your event.

In some places, you can hire the Judge out during non-working hours, to officiate at your wedding site. Just like getting a pastor or priest from a church, you need to schedule far in advance.

And of course, a Captain of a big ship can marry you. It has to be a certain size ship, though. People who are allowed to join others in marriage tend to be the most trusted and responsible in society, and they won't let just any guy with a little boat do it.

If you do want to have a religious ceremony, many clergy will marry you even if you're not a member of the church. If you don't want a religious ceremony, you can go to a courthouse and be married by a judge.

There are only a few states where a Notary can marry you, so you will need to check that information out for your state.

Las Vegas, NV marriage capital of the year. Get your marriage license first, costs cash USA, or go to RENO, NV.

In vegas most all taxi cab drivers know where to take you. That place is like open until 11 pm. Then choose a wedding spot.

A justice of the peace can marry you. Usually in most states, even a friend can get a temporary license to marry you. I would call the courthouse.

You can go to almost any courthouse that has a Justice of the Peace. Look online for the county that you live in, and see where you're courthouses are located. Or, you can go to Vegas. :) Congratulations!

I think you can go to the courthouse (like a judge or someone of that status) or have someone you know take an on-line course.

What we did was find a non-denominational church that would let you bring in your own minister. They gave us recommendations of who to use (they even had a list).
