Don't try telling me nothing is right... there is always something.
For me, it is family, friends, a great guy and knowing I am loved.

Where does it say in the Bible that all teaching must be found in the Bible?

The Bible speaks highly of traditions, as in 1 Corinthians 11:2: “Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the TRADITIONS, just as I delivered them to you.”

In 2 Thessalonians 2:15 tradition is actually placed on the same level as the written word: “..stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.”

The Bible also says it’s the Church that is the foundation of truth: “..you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15).

I'm trying to lose weight (117 pounds, but I'm short), and my grandmother had success on a carb-free diet. Problem; I love my veggies, but aren't vegetables basically all carbs? I mean, not ten minutes ago I enjoyed a plate of steamed cauliflower. I tried doing a google search on the subject, but didn't know the right words.

Remember that emotions/feelings include love, hate, ego, selfishness, happy, sad, hurt, fear, excited, moody, anxiety, etc. So without those human race will be driven solely by logic, reasoning, intelligence, rationale, and wisdom. Roles in society will likely be governed by the individuals' talents/capabilities. No egotistical ambition. Sort of like ant society. Am I right?

I don't understand why these religions are viewed as seperate entities anyway. They are all Indian born dharmic religions. They are 90% identical, they share all major fundamentals. Moreover, Guru nanak (founder of Sikhism), Mahaveer (founder of Jainism) and Buddha (Founder of Buddhism) NEVER refuted Hinduism. What they refuted was the innacurate practice of Hinduism. Many people wrongly assume that they wanted to establish a spiritual path, different from that of orthodox Hinduism. Such an assessment is misleading. The manner in whuch Hinduism was praticed was wrong, and these holy prophets wanted Hinduism to be practiced accurately. They wanted to take Hinduism back to its purest form.

Their purpose was to ADD to Hinduism, to CONTRIBUTE to Hinduism, to REFORM Hinduism and most fundamentally to PURIFY hinduism. Their purpose was NOT to refute Hinduism.

So why the hell are these religions being perceived as different when they should all be classed as one???
