Why did Jesus have to be crucified for humanity to be forgiven? Couldn't God have forgiven us for our sins without letting Jesus be executed? It doesn't seem like it would be too much to ask from an omnipotent deity.

Also, why did it have to be the Son of God? Couldn't a mortal have done it just as easily? If the answer is that a mortal couldn't have risen from the dead, does that mean that the person would have gone to Hell? If so, how is that a just reward for the ultimate selfless act?

Finally, why did the "sins of humanity" have to be forgiven at all? How is it that everyone, including good people, would have deserved to go to Hell? And if Jesus died only for the sins of Christians, why should good non-Christians go to Hell? If it is for the original sin, is it fair to blame humanity for what two people did? We don't put Genghis Khan's descendants on trial for war crimes. Last question: what was so bad about original sin? All they did was eat a lousy piece of fruit!

Is there a site that contains all the facial attributes of all the races of the world?

For instance it would say like " here is a picture of a typical person with english heritage" or " this person would be an example of someone with greek heritage"

I dont know something like that. That way I can find out where I might come from.

I fell for this woman a couple of months ago and last week built up the courage to tell her, she is devorced of 7 years and we get on really well, she says she has feelings for me but doesn't want to feel insecure around me if we went out, due to me being younger. I want to move on but my feelings won't pass as I think her excuse is overcomeable. It hurts so bad and I don't know what to do. All constructive advise welcome

I wonder sometimes because they use it so often. I mean I thought Darwin made them look bad enough but this makes them look even worse. Do they want to come off looking like fools, or do they do it because they think its some sort of jab at us?

OR do they truly believe in the FSM as a valid religion? I mean if they believe in the doctrine of evolution, what's to keep them from believing in any other fairytale theory?

Obviously polls must be replaced because they are so inaccurate.

Should the "frontrunners" be determined by donation counts? Donation totals?

Should # of unique donors be factored into existing polls? Included alongside existing polls?

Seriously, I think I need an atomic bomb to protect myself from Russia, China and Earth itself.

How come they don't allow it though?

Surely a gun is just the same as an atomic bomb?

Atomics bombs don't kill people. People kill people.

Seriously, my protection is at stake without it.

And I think because I have one for protection, than all my enemies should have one for protection also. Otherwise how will they protect themselves from me?

(note my sarcasm)

So how come no one cares about my argument, when it is just as reasonable as having a machine gun?

If my reasoning is flawed, so is the reasoning of people who wish not to impose gun restrictions.

Do you think there would be more deaths if atomic bombs were readily available? Yes, some mentally insane people would surely misuse that power.

Isn't that just the same with guns? If there were gun restrictions, there would be less chances of people trying to murder others.

Australia has gun restrictions and less deaths (scaled).
