you're missing the point: the head is associated with the shekinah, which is the Hebrew word for glory and is pictured with the halo or crown. A woman's beauty is her crown.

It doesn't really matter the length of her hair. It's what's in her heart that matters. This is my take on 1st Corinthians chapter
11 is that if a woman that shaved her head completely bald, it meant that she probably WAS a pagan. And involved with a form idolatry as well.
Remember this: only God our creator knows your heart. God doesn't care about the hair style.
I think personally that this is one of the most misinterpreted scripture there is.
Look at the history of Calvary Chapel; it all started with a Four Square Pastor named Chuck Smith, whom invited Hippies to attend his sermons at his congregation in Costa Mesa, CA in the late 1960's, and he invited them in just as they were.
Today, Calvary Chapel is one of the biggest, if the not the biggest none denominated Christian ministry in the world! God has blessed this ministry.

Women who have long long hair and tie it up on top of their head have shorter hair than I do. At least my ears are covered. Hair was used as a covering in Eve's day but my hair would not cover anything. It is not that type of hair. And the women who put theirs on top of head don't cover anything.
I knew a woman one time who had very long hair that would cover a lot and she was sleeping with the minister. Did that hair make her holy?

According to Scripture her hair is her glory. It never speak of how long the hair had to be because everybody wasn't ment to have long hair.

a woman who shaves her hair shaves her glory, I know these butch woman who likes looking like a man will give me the thumbs down, but so be it, Gods way is tight but right.

I guess long hair is more beautiful.
Go did punish one nation making them have hsort hair and took away there beauty because they were beautiful.
