Ok, a pal of mine at work was convicted of a felony when he was 21. Now he is 38

He mentioned that he liked to hunt when he was a kid but he couldnt now because of the felony.

I am under the impression that he still could hunt with a bow, is that correct?

Is there any way he could get his gun rights back, if not for handguns then maybe just for long guns?

We adopted a border collie from a shelter and she only has a little nub of a tail. We have no history on her to know if it was bobbed, and no experience with them--she's our first. Are they normally born with or without tails? It doesn't matter, she's adorably cute as is, I'm just curious as to whether any breed is born that way. Thank you.

Do you think the DoD Decency act is right? Basicly the act prohibits the sale of obscene material at On-Base Exchanges. Currently Playboy, all Playboy special editions, Penthouse, Tatoos, and Bikers are allowed, but other Pornographic magazines are not? My son lost a 17.00 an hour job because he wouldn't get up for work about a month ago, my husband tolld me he told him to get the f--- up it was 10:30, he didn't need to sleep all day, my son said he told him to get his lazy a-- up. I find this to be really difficult problem, and I can't find someone who can answer it.

Two physics students have been selected by NASA to accompany astronauts on a future mission to the Moon. The students are to design and carry out a simple experiment to measure the acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the Moon. Describe an experiment that the students could conduct to measure the acceleration due to gravity on the Moon. The answer must include :
- the equipment needed
- what quantities would be measured using this equipment
- what procedure the students should follow in conducting their experiment
- what equations and/or calculations the students would need to do to arrive at a value for the acceleration due to gravity on the Moon.

This is more philosophical in nature, but I would love opinions of others.

Look at all the print, tv, radio and commercial time that is spent on empowering women, teaching them to love themselves, care for themselves, and empower them. I wholeheartedly believe that the support structure, and aid that this brings our young women is excellent...needed, and will help produce a generation of females which is stronger, healthier, more mature, and empowered than the last...CUDDOS!

But, and my question is....where is the support for the male population? It seems we are leaving them in the dark ages. With more broken families, busy lives, increased pressures on time, societal pressures etc.....whom is teaching your young males to be mature, confident, empowered?

Why does Ellen, Oprah et al, exist, but no one seem concerned that the male generation is not receiving the same attention and support? Are we dooming our male species, and future generations?
