It really isn't Bible vs Science. Some have made it that way, but the reality is that the majority of science only affirms the Bible. There are certain theories out there which have not been proven as laws yet which do contradict the Bible, but they have not been proven yet and they are not accepted by everyone in the scientific community. I can trust the Bible which still and always will prove to be a book without error.

When science discovers a mistake within the body of "scientific knowledge" that accumulates over time, it gets fixed. We thought for a while that the Earth might be flat. Observation and measurement proved that was wrong, so "science" updated that information. So you can trust science to do its best.

The Bible NEVER changes though, and any mistakes in it are generally ignored, denied, or explained away by "God's mysterious ways".

Here is a list of 313 specific scientific/historical errors that YOU can find and verify in your bible:

...Trust the Bible? Frankly, I do not believe in the Bible as it contains so many contradictions when you start comparing the contents of the four (4) gospels, although all the gospel writers claimed they were 'inspired by God'. How come God contradicts Himself at various instances, if those were really words of God in the Bible?

Further, if God is Omnipotent, how come HE has a son in human form? ... which implies He may have a wife too? Then HE is no different from anyone of us humans! To make matters worse, HE even submitted His son to die on the cross. If HE is omnipotent how can HE die at cross? {Assuming} If God were to die I wonder what will happen to this world! The Supreme Creator cannot die!

And then there is the holy spirit... which really baffles me again. What are his functions, if any?

As far as Science is concerned it is part & parcel of God's creation. Nature is God's creation too, including the universe & ALL that goes in it (including us humans, animals & plants, etc). The only enigma is that we cannot see God in physical terms. God is beyond all worldly dimensions (length, bread, height, time, & space). God's existence has always been beyond the 5th dimension laisted above. Therefore science per se cannot prove anything beyond the 5th dimension (which is actually God's realm)... even through metaphysics!

You can trust the bible
but the bible is a different version or slightly altered version of every other religion
You will ask a scientist how was the world created?
He will say
By Energy?
You will ask back.
"What is energy"
The scientist will say something that has always been and can never be destroyed

Ask a Christian what created the world
he will say God
you answer what is God
He will say something that has aways been and can never be destroyed

The Bible is history as well as a book on God and the life of Christ. I trust Jesus as my Savior and believe in him doing the best I can each day. We know that man was involved with the making of the Bible and man can mess up anything but God made sure that his point is there.

Always put your trust in the Holy Bible.
Science is just discovering the things God already put here.

Experimental science, when done well, trumps superstition any time. Many people think the bible is not meant to be literal, but is seeking a higher truth. Some famous scientists also believe this.

The Bible's credibility depends entirely on it's translators intentions.
Science and religion do not contradict each other if the religion is teaching the truth.
