I spent 10 years as the youngest then I acquired a step sister which made me the middle child. Then I got twin half brothers which made me the second oldest. A few years after that I got 2 older step brothers which put me right smack dab back in the middle. How was it for me growing up...well I was never lonely.

Im the oldest of two by only 10 minutes.I have a twin brother.Growing up an oldest and a twin had it fair share of good and as equal its fair share of bad.The good was that i had the chance to have someone close to my age around me almost all the time. The bad was that he went to the same schools i went to,and inturn know a lot of my friends and know what was going on with me to a point.Like if he had me doing something bad in school he would tell my mom and get me in trouble. But looking back now it is not that bad as i thought it was at the time.

Oldest...so I pushed the boundaries to get a better deal for my brother (or that was my excuse...), my brother was the favourite so I was the rebel for a lot of the time but at the end of the day I know that my parents loved us both the same. I got punished far more than him, especially when it came to dating and smoking, which made me even more outrageous. I learnt pretty quickly not to depend on my parents (my mum went back to work and got me a nanny, but quit work when my brother was born), so dated a lot of older guys when I was a teen so that when I argued with my parents I could just stay with them. Being oldest definitely toughened me up, and I'm glad.

I'm a middle, 15 years old. To me now that im a teenager, it sucks because you get to respect both your elder sibs and be responsible for the youngest. So its harder than being both the oldest and youngest.

I'm oldest now but I was an only for the first 11 years of my life. It was great being an only and it's ok being the oldest. I'm more motherly now, I think, and I've taken on some leadership qualities. I'm happy :)
