My son will be 4 months old next week and that is usually when his pediatrician gives the go ahead on solids. He also shows great interest when he is around anyone eating. I know to start off with single grain cereal (rice) and to try that for a few days until moving on. I know what to watch for allergy wise. I'm just confused about when to introduce things like fruits and vegetables. I do plan on asking his pediatrician about all this, but I would like to here about personal experiences.

I've 15 and ive been drawing forever and people say I've got a really good talent. For my series im writing, I've drawn characters for two of the books, the map and maybe i'll do a cover idea. If they wanted me to draw the illustrations, would they if they wanted me to?

I know this retarded kid (about 13) who believes in Jesus. He just believes in Jesus without any studying or active reason.

I'll ask him where will he go when he dies and he'll say, "To Jesus!" and clap his hands...

I also know this retarded muslim kid (about 12) who believes with all his heart that Allah is God and that Mohammad is God's chief prophet and Jesus is second to Mohammad. He believes this with all his heart.

I know of a retarded buddhist kid who does not believe in one single deity, but in a collective enlightenment... He too believes this with all his heart.

....and yes - I do know a lot of retarded people...

Q: Does it take a certain amount of retardation in order to believe things based solely on faith?

Are we doomed? I hear the world will end in six years. If you look at Merlin and a few others we want last another few years. Yes there was a Merlin but a lot more that said the end was near. Global warming has just stepped up and said that 2012 the glaciers would melt.....that would mean NY would be under water.
La for sure.....Tokyo for sure. The bad thing is they say it doesn't mater what we do now...it is a done thing. We have used our trump card and the sky is falling.

Look I'm in my mid twenties. The love of my life is two states away.
I have to see him. It has been 3 months. Long story how I got out here. I have no friends or family here. My family lives half way across the country. I am dying to see my soulmate. He is dying to see me. I do not have a vehicle right now, because it is states away at my dads and I am letting him use it for work, since he is real hard up right now.

My question: How with no vehicle, only a couple hundred bucks. Do I get there?
I can't take the bus or train, because there is no way that I will leave my dog behind.
I can wait no longer, I have to see my love.

What would you do? If I wait one more month,I will have my truck back and my license back and can drive up. However, it has already been nearly 4 months. I can wait no longer.

Should I hitchhike? How safe during the holidays is that-for a woman to do?

Because my boyfriend has been her father for the past 3 years the police fill that they have liabilities issues and are telling me that I need a writ of asistance to get her back and if I call the police any more they will put me in jail. I am trying to put together a earthquake survival kit to put in my car. I have a 9month old baby. SHe uses formula and eats gerber food. Should I put some of these in the bag if I will keep it in the car?? I am concerned about the change in temperature and the condition of the food. I know reular food shouldnt be kept in cars under sun or extreme heat conditions. Any ideas??? What about powder formula??

I can't remember what show I was watching, (I think it was a series on YTV (non-cartoon)), at one point, the class had to present their poems. This goth-looking girl read a poem about sympathy towards others. It was something to this effect:
