Christ was called the King of the Jews by those who attacked him and were opposed to His teachings. In fact a sign was placed on his cross "King of The Jews" He never claimed to be a King. All He claimed was that He and His father were one. And that no man cometh unto the Father except by Him.

Christ means anointed not king. and he never denied being the Messiah...in many instances he claimed to be equal to God, that is why the Jewish in his day were out to kill him. In the end he was resurrected just as he said he would be. Peace
