Are we doomed? I hear the world will end in six years. If you look at Merlin and a few others we want last another few years. Yes there was a Merlin but a lot more that said the end was near. Global warming has just stepped up and said that 2012 the glaciers would melt.....that would mean NY would be under water.
La for sure.....Tokyo for sure. The bad thing is they say it doesn't mater what we do now...it is a done thing. We have used our trump card and the sky is falling.

Global warming is a scam. Not only is it the product of arrogance that we control the planet, but it is designed to pick the pockets of industrialized nations.

It's called WEATHER...and it has only been measured and recorded scientifically for a little over 100 years. If you recall, the last Ice Age was caused by a giant meteor striking the earth, raising a huge dust cloud that DID alter the climate and weather....and I can assure you, there wasn't a single internal combustion engine involved.

By the way, when I was a kid, in the 60's, they weren't worried about the earth getting hotter...it was an impending Ice Age that had their knickers in a twist. Now they have to call it Climate Change, because some places are actually experiencing colder temps. We can pollute ourselves out of business, but what we do on this planet will be corrected by this planet. The ozone hole opens and closes on ITS schedule, not ours....and the period on this earth with human populations is but a blink of an eye...so live your life and stop being afraid. Chicken Little is a fairy tale.

It said an Ice Free Summer in North Atlantic by 2012-2013. However this projection was only claimed by two scientist. They based their predictions on the 2007 ice melt, and if the rate of 2007 melting continues, the North Atlantic will have Ice free summer by 2012-2013. However, the majority of scientist study global warming and the polar ice caps feel that they will melt by 2030-2040, based on 2007 record ice melt. Also, Merlin never mentioned the year 2012. That is just hyped up interpretation. Almost every scientist agrees that 2012-2013 is an overly agressive prediction when the polar ice cap will have ice free summers. Overall, its EXREMELY unlikley that ice caps will melt by then, and 2012 is nothing but hype. The End ofthe world has en predcted thousands of times and has never been right! Take a look here:

yeah, you pay attention numerous issues. the trick is sorting out the baloney from fact. extra often than not what you're describing falls into the baloney class. there is far extra baloney around than no longer. Ever attempt to soften a huge chew of ice? It takes particularly some warmth. Glaciers are unimaginably great chunks of ice. the place is all that warmth meant to return from? because of the fact there's no longer even close to to sufficient warmth coming in from the solar whether none decrease back back to area, and yet maximum of it is, so which you would be able to desire to make some particularly particularly particularly great changes in fact over the subsequent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for something like that to ensue.

So Toykoyo and New York etc go underwater, so that means the other 99% of the world would just die? What about the people in Oklahoma or Nebraska? I don't think the glaciers would melt in like 5 seconds and cause a huge flood. Time...

Good gracious...the IPCC states that sea level from a combination of factors will rise less than 3 ft (!) by 2100. NO ONE predicts that all of the continental glaciers on Greenland and Antarctica will completely melt (they may melt some).

BUT...2012 is when the "Colonists" return to reclaim Earth. Watch out for the "black oil".

The end of the world is NIGH! It's a done deal just like it was predicted 20 times over the past hundred years.
Don't give anyone your wordly possessions. It won't do them any good either. . Take all your stuff out on the lawn tonight and burn it...

According to the Mayan calender this epoch will end on Dec 21,2012 and yes there have been other predictions for that date. and by the way our earth will be aligned with the center of the Milky way on that date and who can know what forces that could unleash. I guess we all better move to the center of the country. After all we are not promised Dec 22,2012 are we?

But, we'll miss the London Olympics!

I don't think anyone can say exactly when, but I'm sure that if we all act to resolve it now, we may be able to prolong the life of the earth for a few years beyond that ;)

I wouldn't worry too much, we're all going to die someday anyway, might as well live life whilst we're here and have fun!

2012 is when the Mayan calendar is to end. Does it mean the end of the world? No. Why? Because people have been predicting the end of the world since the beginning of time. Don't lose sleep over it.
