I have a credit card that went array a few years ago, and I should not have let it. My problem is that I keep getting harassing calls. Im in Texas, and I know that they cannot garnish my wages. I also know that the creditor is under no legal obligation to tell the credit card company that it is paid off. And once my CC company sells my debt it’s already hit my credit. So paying it off with the agency won’t help my score. Is there any real benefit in paying the collection agencies? And if not what can they really do to me?

This alarms me because I am religious and do not want to wear the mark of the beast because you will not get into heaven. Also, all of the freedoms that mean so much to us will be eliminated. We'll me being prior enlisted and Cadet in ROTC going for pilot, I'm interested in your opinion. What do you see for our future? All though it is nice to have an un-manned aircraft shooting missles and spraying bullets at hot zones, I still think its something that would never obsolete a fighter pilot. This is why I think so, even though the predator has been very good at its job so far, it still is being controled by a signal. Take out the tower sending signals. Goodbye predator. Now I'm not 100% on its A.I. It could be smart enough to target the enemy on its own and fight it off. Still things happen, ever see the move "stealth" heh. Anyway this is all in good fun, what is your opinions for our future Air power?

I have a one and a half year old Dell Latitute D510 laptop with four missing buttons: ENTER key, M, N and comma keys are missing also. Would a pawn shop take it and how much would I get it for it? I think they would offer me 60-75.

I'm not a big fan of Michael Moore, but his latest film "Sicko" is so revealing and addresses a need in this country.
We live in the greatest country in the world, why can't we go to the doctor or hospital for free, like in Canada, Britian, Mexico, and Cuba????

Out The Window

Out the window...grey, chilly day
Highlighted by tall weeds...backyard.
Tired leaves. Too exhausted to fight
For color, flippin down...spiraling a
'Goodbye'.

Out the window...Winter has won
Again. Time of trials has come.
Wolf curled on pine needles...still.
Bushy tail over her face...warm.

Out the window...
One Magnolia blossom...

I'll use sports as an example. When the NBA was all white the league had certain rules. Then along comes Wilt Chamberlain, and nobody could stop him. The 3 sec. rule followed. But that didnt stop what was happening, eventually the league became almost all Black. So along comes new rules. Zone defense used to be illegal, but in order to make the new European players competetive they allow zone defense now. The reason: Dirk Nowinski is too slow to guard the likes of Kevin Garnett. Before the rule change someone like Allen Iverson would regularly drop 50 points on the likes of Steve Nash and Jason Williams. Zone defense makes matchups irrelevant and allows players who are weak on defense to stay on the floor.

Do you think rules are adopted in general life that have this affect?

She treats me so badly. Even in front of other people she will. I'd say something to her, and she'd give me a really mean look and scoot her chair away from me and call me weird. Then later on in the day she'll laugh and tell jokes to me. It just hurts so much that she does this to me. I mean who is she to treat me this way? Why is she treating me so badly? I did NOTHING wrong to her. Is it because she's insecure? It could be because she's so attractive AND she treats me like dirt. (I really didn't mean to sound superficial or anything, it's just a suggestion though...)

right he teaches me for science and sometimes does morning assembly. well i dont see him that often but he;s really annoying and makes his presence clear. like he hides my books and stuff and then puts them somewhere esle. this sounds really, really stupid but like two days agol he told me he needed to speak to me at lunch in his office. i went to his 'office' and he told me that he had a book to give me. he gave it me and that was OK. then i gave it back to him (i had him next for science) because he asked for it. then he told me he left the book in the library for me.. which doesnt even make sense. well i went over to the library.. it wasnt there. He came and told me "Oh i'm realy sorry, i left it in the canteen." I went to the canteen, it wasn't there.. i lost it. today he shouted at me in front of the whole class and made me stay after school 30 mins every day next week! so unfair! and then i started crying when i walked out of his lesson, he was really nice but then told me it was

I see Jews saying things like this:
“We believe that Jewishness is a birthright. It is inherited from our parents. Our people are not of one culture; we have diverse cultural expressions (Ashkenazi/Sephardi, Georgian/Russian, Ethiopian, Persian, etc.). Our people are not of one religion. While Judaism might be the traditional religion for many Jewish people, Jews are still considered Jewish even though they might be atheists or even if they embrace other beliefs.”

And yet, I see others saying that if you believe Jesus is the Messiah, then you definitely are not a Jew.

In fact, many Jews readily agree that you can be a Jew and an atheist…but just not a Jew who believes in Jesus.

So, basically, a Jew can be a Jew and believe absolutely ANYTHING and still be a Jew, EXCEPT that Jesus is the Messiah, the Anointed One of God, the Prophet who was prophesied to come?

Does this mean that the ONLY way to “lose” your “Jewishness” is by believing in Jesus?

Does anybody else find this profoundly sad and ironic…especially since “Christianity” is nothing more than “Judaism fulfilled” – through and by her own Messiah, the Son of David, Lamb of God, and Lion of Judah - Jesus of Nazareth (Yeshua)?
