This alarms me because I am religious and do not want to wear the mark of the beast because you will not get into heaven. Also, all of the freedoms that mean so much to us will be eliminated. Serious replies only, please.

I don't think it will be very long before this happens. They are pushing it faster with the terror and identity theft propagandas.

I was watching the news about 1yr ago, a couple was implanted with this prototype chip. The chip opened their car doors, turned on their lights in their home, as well as performed the monetary functions intended. They are implanting them now in animals at the veterinary clinics. Maybe that is the last you payed attention was in the 90's.

The microchip craze happenedin the early 1990's and it has been a dismal failure due to several negative results from the insertion of the chip.

Malignant tumors found

Published in veterinary and toxicology journals between 1996 and 2006, the studies found that lab mice and rats injected with microchips sometimes developed subcutaneous "sarcomas" — malignant tumors, most of them encasing the implants.

• A 1998 study in Ridgefield, Conn., of 177 mice reported cancer incidence to be slightly higher than 10% — a result the researchers described as "surprising."

• A 2006 study in France detected tumors in 4.1% of 1,260 microchipped mice. This was one of six studies in which the scientists did not set out to find microchip-induced cancer but noticed the growths incidentally. They were testing compounds on behalf of chemical and pharmaceutical companies; but they ruled out the compounds as the tumors' cause. Because researchers only noted the most obvious tumors, the French study said, "These incidences may therefore slightly underestimate the true occurrence" of cancer.

• In 1997, a study in Germany found cancers in 1% of 4,279 chipped mice. The tumors "are clearly due to the implanted microchips," the authors wrote.

The Baja Beach Club in Barcelona, Spain is the first business to use the VeriChip System to grant customers access to VIP areas and provide an easy payment option.

However, this little chip can cause unexpected problems.

A British gentleman tried to remove the chip which he received at the Baja Club in Spain. The chip "traveled" from its original implantation on the tricep.

Result: the man had went through several months of stress having the chip "found" and had to spend thousand $$$ to have it removed.

if you are a believer then you have to believe that the lords loves you and he is not out to harm you but that doesn't mean we don't go through trials i am not 100% if we go befor during or after the tribulations all i know is that my faith is in god and i know he wont let us down it will be hard times harder than what anyone has ever dealt with but as long as you believe then you will be ok but if you fear it now what will you do when it happens you should have a plan on how not to get the mark so you dont have to rely on the goverment or whoever would have something to dangle over you well that was long winded god bless

Even if they do put a "chip" in everyone, I'm not worried, because God is in control. As a Seventh-Day Adventist, I do not believe that a microchip is the "Mark of the Beast". We believe that the Beast is the Roman Catholic Church, and the "Mark" of the Beast is Sunday worship, which the Catholic Church claims is her invention, and calls it her "MARK of ecclesiastical authority". Our "hands" represent work in the Bible, and our "heads" represent our thoughts and beliefs. So if we, with our hands, work on the true Sabbath and rest on Sunday, we are disobeying God's specific command. Even if we honor Sunday in our beliefs (in our "heads"), we are also disobeying the Lord.
We believe that one day, a universal Sunday Law (a "Blue Law") will be enforced by the Catholic Church, and the US will be its puppet in carrying out this enforcement. People will have to make a choice whom they are going to serve - Man or God. Those who choose to worship on Sunday will receive the mark of the Beast. Those who obey God and worship on the true Sabbath of Creation, even at risk of imprisonment or death, will receive the Seal of God.

Check their sources. I can think of several diverse groups from Libertarians, Klan Members, ACLU whiners, liberal tree huggers, neo-nazi conservatives, funnymental Christians, and many other unrelated and usually opposing forces that would fight tooth and nail to prevent any sort of silly chip.

I believe that the antichrist will soon be revealed. I also believe that regardless of whether the rapture occurs before the tribulation, in the middle of it, or after it, I will be following Jesus. I know I cannot do that in my own power, but I have faith that He will enable me to.
