This is primarily for Christians, and among Christians will probably apply most directly to the evangelical sect.

Why would you wish someone you KNOW is Jewish a "Merry Christmas" instead of a "Happy Hannukah?" The receptionist at my work is a "hard core" Christian of some sort. I don't know if she's Baptist, born again, or what exactly, but whatever, she really is a very nice person, and has been here for at least 15 years.

We're sending a thank you card to one of our sales reps who sent us all chocolates for the holidays. Our sales rep is Jewish. Which everyone in the company knows, because he's been with us for a long time. He even sent us the chocolate gold coins that appear for Hannukah. So why, WHY, would she write "Merry Christmas!" when she signed her name?! WHY couldn't she write "Happy Hannukah?" I understand the sentiment, but is it so hard to acknowledge that a coworker doesn't share your beliefs? Really, is that so unthinkable? Please help me understand.

We can obviously rule out number four. The reason why this question is in R & S is because it is similar to the question:
Who created the universe?
1. God
2. Allah
3. Vishnu
4. Time and Chance
An evolutionist that believes number four is like an English scholar that believes that monkeys wrote Shakespeare's plays. The origin of the universe and everything in it is outside the purview of science. Scientists should direct their attention to the advancement of knowledge rather than trying to prop up the dead paradigm of evolution.
So if evolutionists refuse to believe that monkeys wrote Shakespeare, then how can they claim that time and chance could create so much order and information?

I took Tango before, it was great. Of course i just did like 1 month( 4 weeks and only 3 times per week) but it was fun. I was getting alittle more social. and i talked to girls. it was fun.

But then i got a terrible knee injury( 2006) and i couldn't walk for months. I got cured but now i have left over arthritis pains. so i don't think dance would be a good idea.

I wonder if instructors would accept People with pains who can be limited in what they can do.

I have a 13 week old labrador and he chews and eats everything. Somehow he got a female product and before I could get it out of his mouth, he swallowed it whole. It was stuck in his throat for a little bit, but I couldn't get a hold of it, because he was biting down. It's not stuck in his throat anymore. He's still drinking okay. I've already fed him for this morning, so I haven't tried that again. Will he pass it okay? Has your dog did this? I'm about to take him to the vet for his rabies shot, but I'm really too embarrassed to ask them. If you think it's something serious, I will.

Thanks in advance.

I'm having serious doubts about my marriage, and have been having for 6m+. Whether I leave or stay I'll always wonder if I should have done the opposite.

Would you rather regret leaving a marriage/relationship or regret staying?

i missed 2 days of school and now i dont understand the homework i need to 'teach myself'. it has to do with proving cofunction relationships:
First of all, it says in an example on my handout that

sin ( pi / 2 + theta) = [ (a) / (root of all (a^2 + b^2)) ]
and that
cos theta = [ (a) / (root of all (a^2 + b^2)) ]
??? there's a diagram illustrating this on my sheet, with 2 right angle triangles in the first and second quadrants...?
and secondly (the actual question im stuck on...)
it says that using;
the following information, i need to derive a relationship for each of the following and then prove the relationship???

(a) csc (3/2 pi - theta) (b) sec (3/2 pi - theta)
(c) cot (3/2 pi - theta)

i dont understand any of this...so confusing to me...can anyone help please??

(btw if this helps, it says use the relationship in the previous question to answer this, and the prev. question was
sin (270 degrees - theta) / - cos theta

thank you!!!!

Does anybody else note the inconsistencies in the conservative pro-war arguments? Here is my favorite one, and it is the reason I asked the above question:

We should be allowed to torture our enemies because they are not prisoners of war since they wear no uniforms; yet apparently they're strong enough and organized enough to come to the USA and invade and overpower our military if we don't keep our troops in Iraq.

Since even the President isn't pretending any more that the war in Iraq is remotely related to 9/11, that means that the OFFICIAL story is that the events of 9/11 were not the start of this war. (Which makes sense since this war wasn't actually started until March 20, 2003.)

So where is the proof that the insurgents in Iraq will head to the U.S. if we pull our troops out? When has Iraq EVER invaded the U.S.?

Why are the religious so occupied with death? Death seams to be their only hope. If their God can't do anything for them during their life here on earth, how can they hope for anything better after death?

A friend of mine is black and he went to Poland. Well, when he went there all jaws dropped, he said it was like Micheal Jordan had arrived. They were constantly staring at him, taking pictures with him and hugging him. He said it was even hard to eat in peace. I'm assuming these Polish people never saw blacks before.

When England and Argentina were fighting the Falklands War we had a responsibility to be on each side.

England under NATO, and Argentina under the Rio Treaty.

When are we gonna stop these ridiculous alliances that add to our deficit and get good servicemen killed. Why didn't we fight for both.

Ron Paul 08, it only makes sense.
