They are so afraid to face their mortality. Ironically, all believers consider selfishness to be a great sin, and in my humble opinion it is very selfish to want to live forever.
That's what I find liberating about accepting that there is no God. My choices. My consequences. My conscience.
One life - one chance. I better make something of it before I run out of time.

I really like this question.
Clearly, the only solution that men have been able to come up with for enjoying a better existence is to attain it after death, because, obviously, no gods are helping in this one.
It's pretty sad, isn't it? Throwing away your life for another that doesn't exist.
And, for the record, death is the end of ANYBODY'S problems, regardless of philosophy or delusion.

My religion has a balanced view on death. The wordly life is the seed of the harvest of life hereinafter. So whatever one sows here, shall he reap there. So we must live a happy and meaningful life, making it as fruitful as possible for those who concern us .
We can expect a good reward, if we recognized the favour
of God Almighy who gifted us a priceless thing such as life.

Nope. Death is just a part of our eternal life. I don't fear it nor do I obsess about it. Why would you think that "God can't do anything" for me during life? He does things all the time for me.

Will my death be the answer to my problems -- No. The death of other people to be the answer to my problems - yes.
Less poor hungry people, less taxes, life would be better

Any thinking person person of any faith (or non-faith for that matter) knows that dying is just a part of life. How one prepares for it is their business.
Hey Bettie, instead of hanging around in YA asking rhetorical questions, why don't you try some community service? Prove to me atheists aren't just a bunch of whining, self-indulgent twits.

Heaven is their exclusive club and they want the rest of us to know that they hold the key to who gets in. So high school.

God WILL work in our lives, IF we let Him.
Death is just something to look forward to, because our struggles in life will finally be over.
The thing is, He wants to use us while WE ARE STILL ALIVE!

Death is the ultimate solution to every problem.
Everything dies, so there is nothing to fear.
