atheists are vilified as anarchistic and evil anti-religionists, who want nothing more than to rob other people of their right to practice their beliefs. Only a small portion of atheists are open (out of the closet) about their atheism, and as a result we are viewed as a much smaller percentage of the population than we really are.
So what are atheists like? It's hard to say. To me, one of the best components of atheism is the freedom of thought and mind. Prejudice against people of other sexes, races, or sexual preferences is rare, because most of such prejudice is religion-based and completely illogical. We argue with each other, thrive on debate, and feel like we're better people after we've been proven wrong. We do good because it's the right thing to do, not out of a selfish fear of eternal damnation or a need to "win points" with a deity.

Other than that, we are a very diverse group of people. We are writers and poets, philosophers and scientists, teachers and businesspeople

When I want sex (maybe twice a month), I have no trouble getting aroused. But my husband needs it more than that, but I don't ever seem to get aroused. I'm attracted to him, and he does what I ask, but it doesn't seem to produce any physical reaction. We've tried different times of the day, touching different areas, but still nothing. And he's not happy if I don't get aroused...so of course it is causing trouble and I feel like I'm letting him down. I don't know if there is a medicine, or vitamin, or something I can take or do so that when he's ready I can get excited too. I'd really appreciate any advice from females who have ideas.

I have heard many people criticize Obama for having no political experience. In my opinion that is a good thing cuz every single politician is corrupt and everyone knows that. They say what they need to say to get elected. Once they get elected they dont do the things that they promised that they would do. My point is that Obama hasnt been corrupted by politics yet and more of a guy for the "people". Anyone else agree with me?

The other day I asked my friend her age. I haven't known her for that long, I've known her for like a year but I never bothered asking so it was kind of out of the blue. She was laughing about it, she's not one to get offended easily, but she still refused to answer lol. What's the big deal? She looks young, I assumed she is probably not much older than me.

but do you ladies really feel oppressed? Do you really feel that there is anything out there (assuming youre Western) that you cant do? Do you really feel that you're being held back because of your gender or are you just upset because everyone doesnt think like you? Not trying to be offensive but I dont feel particularly oppressed. If you do, please tell me why cause I would really like to hear it. Please no general, historical perspective. Concrete, modern, real-life first or at least second hand situations.

I have applied for cards @ Visa, department stores, Bank of America, my own friggin bank Washington Mutual, and have got nothing, zilch, nada! So can someone tell me what's the deal? I'm a 19 year old full time student, part-time worker who @ the moment has no financial responsibilities, so have had no way to build credit. I am going on a diet I'm 5'4 and 110llb I was thinking about eating only apples and yogart. I like to put yogart on my apples :). You cant count calories in apples becauseyou burn more than you eat. I usually use 3/4 of the box of yogart. Originally its 140 callories but i dont usr it all so i count 100. Ill eat this 3 or 4 times as it is filling and i dont know for how long it depeends on results. I take a vitamine everymorning, drink lots, and exersize. What do you think?? Can you give me more tips too??
