None of these religions allow women into positions of leadership in the church...clergy, deacons, etc...Southern Baptists believe in the subjective role of women as defined by the Apostle Paul...and do not believe women should be in government either....so, these men still prescribe to religions that live in the dark ages....if this is how they choose to believe in their personal lives...how will they choose correct decisions in matters of government...your thoughts?

Looking at Reconstruction, Populism, Progressivism, The New Deal and the 1960s attempt to explain how we arrived in 2007 with our current political concerns about low taxation, moral issues such as abortion and gay marriage, and fears of world terrorism. In your opinion has the period since 1877 been a period of positive growth for the United States? A period of decline? A period in which very little has actually changed despite many big ideas and events? Use reference points from the past to explain your beliefs.

Now that smoking has been banned in most enclosed public places and all places of work, has that made you more honest to yourself about the real reason you started smoking?

Do you now accept it as a character flaw?

Since society has made it clear that it does not admire your habit, will you finally admit to yourself that the real reason you started smoking was to be admired? (for being hard, or cool, or rebellious, or thin).

Do you feel like even more of a rebel now that you have to "sneak out the back for a quick suck off a f4g"? (Note to Yahoo - f4g is British slang for cigarette).

Since you can't smoke in public, do you subject your children to even more passive smoke at home? Doesn't that make you feel guilty, or does it make you feel like even more of a hero?

If so, how do you keep your spirits up when people talk down to you as if they think you're a servant? (I've worked in many jobs working with the public, and there are always people who do this)

Does your religion or spirituality help you get through those tough situations?

I know we'd all like to tell those people off, but it'd be kind of hard to keep our jobs that way.

My good friend is joining to the Navy, and will be going off to boot camp in a few days. Is there any gift I can get him that he'll actually be able to take and use in boot camp? Not a phone card. the headache. whats that all about? its hurting in like my left temple and a little bit on my right. it hurts when i move my head. im 13 and i stayed home cuz it hurt and headaches and school dont mix. it FEELS like my brain is rattleing around in my head and when i was sleeping from 6:30 (time i wake up) till 10:30 (now) i had a really really realy weird dream. i have never woken up with a headache before and whenever i have headaches and i go to sleep it makes them go away. its about the opposite now. please help me! should i take some ibeprofin or something? i havent eaten this morning and i ate cow meat for like the first time in like really 5 months last night, but not a lot of it (im a vegetarian). please help!! it really hurts

I was just wondering if anybody has had any experiences with the 7mm-08. I am getting one rifle for Christmas and trying to pick the best caliber. I narrowed down the rifle to a NEF Handi-Rifle. I could get a Remington 700 but I just want a single-shot. I figured I could get a nice scope with the money I saved.

Caliber wise, it's between .243, .270, 7mm-08, .30-30, .308, .30-06, and .35 Remington (if that caliber is avaliable, I'm not sure).
