Follow the directions given on your medication handout on how you are to take your medications. An occasional "oops" and getting a medication too close to a meal will not be the end of the world. Just try to following the guidelines most of the time.

If your meds have specific instructions to take with food or milk or to take on an empty stomach it will make a difference in their effectivness if you didnt follow the instructions. Otherwise it shouldn't matter if you eat or not other than stomach upset, etc.

It will still work at its very best. The only concern is that it might upset your stomach.
