I hear so many people complaining about how society is going you know where in a hand basket. I disagree. I think we are MORE moral than 200 years ago. Think about this. It is no longer legal to beat your wife, own slaves, treat children as property, or deprive everyone who is not a white male of civil rights. I can think of many other things that have changed for the better.

What were the basic tenants behind John Locke’s Second Treatise of Civil Government. How did Americans adopt his theory to suit their own surroundings? How did the interpretation of Locke’s thesis help lead to the American Revolution?

Also, what were the basic motivations for slavery as a system of labor in British America.? Why did British Americans turn to slavery and away from indentured servitude?

For instance, if any of my contacts see a question about Ponies, they automatically know that it's almost certainly mine. See?

Ok. I'm currently writing a book. I have not quite got the title yet.. I'm going to give you a short description of the story plot, and even though it's not that much, I want you to give me the best title you have that you think best suits the story.

Ok.. The story starts off with a young couple finding out the wife is pregnant. So, to tell both of their parents, they take them on a vacation. When at the vaction resort, they tell the parents about the upcoming family member. Everyone's happy and they all celebrate.

9 months later...
A baby boy is born, and they name him Aaron (after Aaron Gillespie). After the couple get's settled back into their daily routine with Aaron, the story continues. One night, when the parents and Aaron are sleeping, someone silently breaks into the house and kidnaps Aaron.
Throughout the book, the parents are getting clues as to who has and where Aaron is.

I have already thought of a mind-boggling twist for the ending.
Thanks for the help!!!

We have a lot of friends helping out during our wedding ceremony:

- our Pastor who is the officiant
- some friends who are leading worship
- a good friend who is doing all of the flowers and decorations (we are footing the bill)
- our friend who is the translator (bilingual service)
- a friend who is doing the photography

The question is: Who do we pay and who do we take out to dinner informally as a gesture of thanks?

We Amercans pay 1/3 of our tax dollars to a wealthy state of Israel, so they can terrorize Palestinians and other Arab countries in the Middle East, and not occupy but STEAL more and more land for free. We can use all that tax money to solve problems here in America like social security, health care etc.. Why are we forced to support a country that many of us don't want to support? I think because our government acts like a communist one and many are Jewish members that are in the government. Just look at Senator Lieberman and Clinton both want to regulate people and control them by force. Congress doesn't do anything for people, they take bribe money and ratify a bill to increase their salary when they don't even do anything to help Americans. The war in Iraq was Bull Sh**, it was only to make sure Israel got its revenge by killing starving children that die everyday in Iraq, while Israel dances the Torah around our tax dollars. I'm just not sure which one to buy first....what do you think?
1. Guided Meditations - Jack Kornfield: 6 essential meditations (Breath meditation, Mind Like Sky meditation, Visualization, Releasing ego/attachment, Inner Sage)
2. Journey to the Crystal Palace - Jackie Haverty: 60min meditation (release stress, inducing healthy sleep)
3. A Guided Meditation - Glenn Harrold: Into a magical garden.

Ideas anyone? Have you heard of any of these?

So I hear there is a hole in each pole of the earth by some guy whose in some weird religion or something. He says that there is a whole nother civilization under the earths crust. So I say "what like in the descent?" and he follows. "No, but how do you explain all the new species of fish we keep finding?" Well, lets see. We haven't discovered all of the species on land let alone the 70% water that makes up earth.

Anyone know what the hell he's talking about or if I can see these holes on google earth?

Yes, he broke the law when he shot the men.

No, he did the right thing.

I don't know.

Joe Horn did the right thing, I don’t care if these kids were killed! It was their FAULT!

1.) They were ILLEGAL!!!!
2.) They were robbing his neighbors house
3.) They would have gotten away otherwise

Joe Horn did the right thing, I am glad there are people like him in America. If someone was robbing me and would’ve gotten away with it unless shot dead, I would rather have them killed. What do their lives mean to me anyways but less money and more stress if they succeed!
Props to Mr. Horn!

A single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they can track her calves right to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them each a cow?

I want to know what really makes you know that God exists and is with you. I have read through alot of the answers to questions like this and found most of them say the same thing, "Christ reached me in a way that makes it impossible for me not to believe". please explain your story and elaborate on where this confidence comes from.
