My sister lives in the city and one of our favorite places to go is Jose Mac's. It's a hole in the wall bar, but it's definiltey fun. There's two bars and a dance floor downstairs and also a bar and a dance floor upstairs. Not the most classy place in the world but definitely fun.
Another "hiddle jewel" we love is Hong Kong cafe. They make the best scorpion bowl in town.
However if you are looking for something a little more classy you might want to head more toward the likes of Revolution Rock Bar. It's more the preppy college crowd. Not for everyone. I prefer the more laid back crowds at the other locations!
Good Lucky and have fun!! Boston is a GREAT place to live! :)

I'm a fan of Jillian's, across the street from Fenway Park. It's got several floors of a dance club, a restaurant, bowling, pool, big screen televisions. It's pleasantly quiet and empty during the week if you're looking for that, and it's jumping on the weekends if you're looking for that.
