I post a question a few days ago asking if "all people" should celebrate WHAT Kwanzaa STANDS FOR...Love and Unity, and I was amazed how many people thought it was just a "black thing" or a "religious" thing.
What do you think about Kwanzaa?
"History of Kwanzaa
Kwanzaa is a non-religious African American holiday which celebrates family, community, and culture. It is celebrated for seven days: December 26 - January 1.
Dr. Maulana Karenga, professor and chairman of Black Studies at California State University, Long Beach, created Kwanzaa in 1966. After the Watts riots in Los Angeles, Dr. Karenga searched for ways to bring African-Americans together as a community. He founded US, a cultural organization, and started to research African "first fruit" (harvest) celebrations. Karenga combined aspects of several different harvest celebrations, such as those of the Ashanti and those of the Zulu, to form the basis of Kwanzaa."

Would you continue to buy gifts and or try and make plans for a spouse who did not think of buying you an aniversary or b day present. They claim to be buying you something on pay day but that day never shows up. I don't want to be petty or childish. I do not feel I should behave like a person who is selfish however after a while you start to feel as if your being taken advantage of and being made out to be a fool.

When requesting proof of God's existence, I often here the look around you response. As if a tree proves God's existence or mountains or the earth itself or even the universe. These things do NOT prove the existence of a supreme being.

This theory is often presented as ALL OF THIS COULD NOT HAVE COME ABOUT ON ITS OWN. (Sometimes even as a story about a boat coming together on its own)

All of this boils down to JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING, DOESN'T MEAN THERE IS A GOD. So we don't know how the universe came to be, how does that prove that God created it? The reality is, we don't know...period. No reason to jump to supernatural conclusions just because we don't know something.

People are so afraid of the unknown that they have to make up an unprovable reason for things they don't know. It's been going on forever.

We live in Tampa, Florida. There was recently an offer at our job for an agent to move to Tulsa, OK. for a management position. My boyfriend is considering taking it if the offer is good. He told me very casually over our work's instant messaging system: "I might be moving to Tulsa", and didn't tell me much more until I constantly asked him wtf he was talking about. Then he explained the issue. So...if the money is good and they offer a good package, I could see why he would consider it.

I guess my question is...if he moves, even if he's just considering it and inquiring about it, that PRETTY much tells me where our relationship stands. He doesn't care about leaving and I, nor his friends are important enough to stay.

I guess I'm just the one to put love before a career. He's the oposite aparently.

So anyway...yeah...that pretty much tells me where him and I stand right?

My friends husband woke up in the middle of the night and it was cold out side. He got very upset when he noticed his wife and son down the hall had the windows open and the fan on low. He firmly said they were "stupid" that it didn't make any sence at all and no wonder they get sick! I'm sure he was still a little groggy and irritated but still isn't that harsh? Fresh air is fresh air... no? -west coast

This question has probably been asked 1000 times, but I'm curious.

So, here's the situation. I've been with the same guy for over 15 years. He's always been very loyal and faithful, and so have I. We've been having problems the past couple years (what long term relationship doesn't have issues) but I didn't see this coming.

I found out he'd been cheating with someone from work. He ended it, but I found out just weeks afterwards. He swears it was a mistake, that he'll never do anything like this again, that he loves me and he'll do anything if I just give him the chance.....blah blah blah.

I honestly don't know what I'll do, and I've told him straight out that I'm not giving him any promises. We have kids, and I need time to figure out what I think is best for me and the kids.

So....long story short. Do you think a guy who's had an affair will do it again, or is it possible (common??) to just screw up once and never repeat the error?

Thanks!

My question is how do people have many investment properties say 7-10 $100,000 properties? When you try to get financing for more properties wouldnt you you be so far in debt? I know that you rent out the properties but you cant make that much profit after the mortgage payment. For example if you have 7, 100,000$ properties renting for 1500 a month with a mortgage of 1000 for each your only netting 3500 a month and in $700000 worth of debt so how can you keep getting loans for more properties?

We are married for 8 years and we have 2 lovely boys. We love eachother very much and I can't imagine living without him. I just wanted to know if it was O.k for me and my husband disgaree on most of the things ..specially when it is something with his parents and sister. We also disagree on little things like ...may be just a nursery rhyme or how to clean the dishes... We just talk about the disagreement and as usual my husband will forget about it. I am wondering if its really O.K for the couple to disagree on things and still be happy. Also want to know if there are people like this and its normal for a couple to disagree...Thanks in advance for answering my question.

Hello,
I am struggling with a regular expression.
I want to extract strings which have 1 or 2 digits from a list of strings.
example:
m=lr10.moscou
m=lr101.moscou
m=lr20.moscou.
I only want to dispay lr10 and lr20
I tried this regular expression
m=lr(\d\d)
but it doesnt work for me
It will be very cool if someone could advise me.
thanks
