You're just trying to get me drunk with these questions aren't you?

another dumb question.

It isn't faith, it is science.

Allow me to explain. Is there a poison out there that no creature has ever died from? One that you actually do accept on faith alone? No? What do you mean?

Fact is, for every poison that is known, someone or some creature similar to humans has died from it. This is what has created the avoidance. Not faith.

Try again.

Absolutely. And I have faith that the brakes on my car will work next time I press the pedal. This is a faith born out of something that I have every empirical reason to believe is true. This is a totally different faith than religious faith.

I have never, ever said I don't have faith. Just not faith in their being a god. I even have faith you might look the definition of the word up.

Obviously this is because when I cook my food, I have to have faith in myself that I won't poison my food, and that I have to trust that trading standards and food hygiene have been observed in the production of my meal.
Ergo, god exists!

EVERYBODY DRINK UP!

how can you say you DO have faith? if you REALLY did, couldn't you eat the food that WAS poisoned and be all right, and just assume it was "your time" or part of "god's plan"?

I have faith in your ability to find every way to present a logical fallacy in question format.

I assume its not poison. Assumption do not equate to faith.

Gulp thanks.

I do practice faith all the time, I just choose not to let it effect the way I treat other people, and try to counter it with reason, based on observation.

I am getting tipsy

Fallacy: Strawman

It is not faith, it is personal experience and TRUST in the food production and inspection and retailing network. There are some places I will not eat or purchase food from. Please do not conflate trust with faith.

It's called taking a chance.

Faith as I've heard has nothing to do with chance you all "Know" god and therefore no chance is involved.
