I'd be satisfied with any kind of conservative. 1st - opposites attract & I would REALLY appreciate an occassional heated, thought provoking debate. (IE. James Carville & Mary Matalin)

2nd - it seems like a significant number of publicly visible conservatives have a freaky side (IE. Jack Ryan ((the swinger)), David Vitter ((DC madame)) & Strom Thurmond ((w/ his.secret ***** love child))

So between you & me - I wouldn't be opposed to exploring that 'bad boy' side of a "conservative". :P

Wow. you're very liberal in some factors and intensely conservative in others. Sounds to me such as you may desire to be an self sustaining after which vote for applicants consistent with specific subject concerns particularly than standard strategies. the only one that traumatic me replaced into the single the place you're saying prosperous human beings would desire to be taxed greater advantageous than all of us else. What incentive is there for persons to make money in the event that they comprehend that's going to be taken? My husband and that i used to make over $a hundred,000 a 365 days, till we found out that if I stop my activity and did no longer artwork in any respect we'd have greater money. Now we make much less yet easily have greater. The "greater you're making the greater we take" doctrine creates much less efficient economies and societies.

I'm just curious how you figure that a person's political perspective plays into relationships between a man and a woman. My father was a Republican, my mother was a Democrat. They raised their three children to be free thinkers and to make up their mind regarding politics without any undue influence. Debates during the holidays were always a lot of fun...lol.

I married someone that I enjoy talking to....and someone who takes the time to listen to my point of view without going into a screaming hissy fit because I might not agree exactly with his point of view.

Married for love - but a bleeding heart liberal who is rapidly converting to independant. Her daughter is pushing that way, too.

Why does Yahoo time out whenever I try to answer stuff?

I prefer someone who can think for herself and not get sucked into 'groupthink', so I would say she would have to fit into the 'independent' category. However, I don't think political affiliation to be the deal-breaker, unless she is too close-minded.

Oh, and by the way, I cannot and would not knowingly and willingly marry a neo-con. That goes against my grain.

Well, I am married to an independent, and I wouldn't want to be married to anyone else, instead.

Why? Love. Love doesn't care about your politics or what your 'type' is or anything else you might hypothetically think matters before it actually happens to you.

I could never marry anyone who is not a strongly liberal/Progressive person. Because, I could never marrying someone who doesn't see the wrongs of this world the same way I see them. *sm*

(By the way, independent does not belong in this list because it implies party affiliation (or lack thereof), and the other things are ideologies).

You know... it doesn't really matter...

Because liberal couples who become parents tend to push conservative values to their children..

It all comes back to full circle.
That is why the conservative moment is strong and always will be strong..
its foundation is based on common sense....and that will always exist.
